I've heard that Maynard caused a riot at one of his concerts with his performance and that he's dumbed it down because of that. Can't find a reference. I know he also did a whole show with his back to the crowd, dunno if those were one in the same.

I'd be interested to see the example. I've been to two Tool shows in the past two years (given, from the same tour), in one he moved around on the stage some but didn't leave a shadow until they all bowed at the end of the show... The other was the same but he didn't even move around. At all.

I've seen most of the APC footage from Emotion and he's stands still with one arm cocked there. You've seen a show in the past... Idk 10 years where he is animate? Frontman doesn't describe Maynard.

Well, this isn't exactly CAD. Maynard got these guys together to do the college TV show.The short guy on guitar, Kevin Horning, DID play on the tape though. Tom, the drummer, played with us in the TexANS towards the end, and Todd... Kevin's brother, was in the TexANS also. I don't remember where the dude on bass came from, but Maynard thought he rocked. Maynard lived a block away from me when this was recorded. I'd been kicked out of the TexANS about a year before. Those were the days...
