Good Game Mondays #15 - Bionic Commando: Elite Forces (GBC)

It has to be said, bionic commando on gameboy is the best, it plays a little quicker than the nes version and looks a tad more `bionic`with all them fancy techno thingies. the music is way better on a gameboy, specially with headphones.

BUT hitler is missing so that is the nes its strong point.

I was disappointed w/ the NES version. I wished it was more like the arcade version. Then GBA came out with that capcom mini-mix game fiasco!! It was just this NES game bundled w/ 2 other NES games. WHATTA letdown!!

Was the music from the first level in the original nes game? If so, which level was it?

I know this post was a while ago, but from what I can tell, this game is a remake of the original Game Boy Bionic Commando. The music sounds a lot better than it did on the black and white Game Boy too.

@GamerNinjaX Haha kind of. This was a remake of the GB game...which was kind of it's own game, not a remake of the NES game...which was a remake of the arcade game...my head hurts now too haha.

@PogueSquadron well the GB version had the same story and same gameplay mechanics except in its obvious futuristic setting. that game is sort of a reimagining of bionic commando

Yeah it got tough when you made it to the Albatross because they changed it from being a small boss in the original to a full fledged level. Also it was cool that you could play as a chick commando in this game too.

Freaking love this game. Never owned it, but played my friend's copy loads when I was a kid. The music's so good.

good game i own it but i cant get in area 16 and 17 if it's possible your not bad and you showed me how to beat the first boss faster
