  • Allright. What are you all little kids having to say about COD4?Huh?You have to spam the comments with COD4?Get a life you stupid little kids. And piss away with you'r COD,S.T.A.L.K.E.R gives the player more feeling in Pripyat.COD4 has ONLY 2 goddamn missions with them. And you say it is related. You are really stupid.

  • fuk off with your video game bulshit stupid kid

  • Call of Duty 4? HAHAHAH! screw that game, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is where it's at!

Anyways, when I see picture of Prypiat it just strikes me how insane it is to see a city that big just abandoned and left to decay. If any of you seen, some buildings were still under construction when it was abandoned! and the new amusement park was never opened. Quite a bad time to abandon a city like that. Damn meltdown!

  • @brosch91 I agree with the STALKER thing. I would love to see Pripyat, just because it was the newest up and coming city for its time. Everyone wanted to be there: opportunity was thick and it was entirely modern for its time. In a few short hours (or a couple short minutes, however you want to think) it was completely destroyed. It's so surreal to me.

  • One day I will go there and play paintball drunk as fuck with my friends pretending to be in CoD4

  • Call of duuuutttyyyy!!!!

  • This summer I had the amazing opportunity in visiting Ukraine because of my mothers heritage. We also were able to visit Prypiat. It was an eye opening experience. A lot of Ukrainians do not like talking about Chernobyl. They are embarrassed about it, so it's hard for some to talk about it.

  • @RadioactiveVikings were they good at understanding english when u went over there? jus wonderin cause i was plannin on going there

  • @brennanz76 It would help to learn the language.95% of residents in Kiev speak russian, whereas in Western Ukraine (L'viv) it;s the opposite 95% of people speak Ukrainian. However on the tour they spoke english and could understand. But I would try to learn some Russian. My mom fluently speaks Ukrainian, she only had a little difficulty because some of the words are different.

  • @RadioactiveVikings how did u get into Prypiat?

  • @brennanz76 My mom found a company in Kiev who does tours in Prypiat.

  • @RadioactiveVikings thanx for all the info :)

  • @brennanz76 No problem, glad I was able to help. If you want to know who we got the tour from I can probably tell you, I just have to ask my mom what it was called lol.

  • I am so glad that you pronounce that name "Prypiat" as I did not know how you would pronounce it. So sad to see that this city will never inhabited again.

  • and on black ops in map called grid

  • did you know to in chernobyl can have mutants beclause this is radiation

  • Wait why that ghost city looks very similar in Call of Duty 4?

  • hey great video i enjoyed knowing what happened to this city you should do more of these videos.

  • Call-Of-Duty is shit! no wonder kids of today are braindead, playing shit like that.. i suppose people play the stupid zombie mode aswell? exactly leaving people like zombies.. thick as shit!!.

  • Why does he call it "praprit"?

  • I would NEVER go to Prypyat.... Radiation will fuck you up.

  • @erpuzzetta01 Then I really hope you always carry sunscreen while outside. One day in Pripyat won't damage you more than a sun burn.

  • You spelled it Pripat,you dickhole!Learn to spell!Its called Pripyat(Припятъ in Russian),not fucking Pripat,you idiot!!

  • @MultiMrblade Who gives a shit, russians are all hobos anyway.

  • All you gay kids talking about call of duty. so fucking annoying.

Join a real fucking army. yous all think you know everything with that stupid game.

  • @KidsOnCrack33 dude this was on cod 4 and its so fuking awsome to play dude i sniped the shit out of this one guy in the head

  • @32heyjoe -_- this is what our generation has come to..

  • @Gold171 yup, people who don't get sarcasm....

  • @KidsOnCrack33 yeah theys is all stupid. theys aint is smart as yous and mes.

  • @Questionssm im not smart. im just a stoner. :) haha

  • I would live there

  • this is sad :(

  • I think the radiation spreaded all across the world..

is there any news yet about the radiation caused by the meltdown in japan?

in a few years europe will be free of nuclear energy (germany is started shutting down their plants a few weeks ago)

green energy is the future :-)

  • was featured in call of duty 4.

  • Great job with the video, very interesting.

  • Well, thanks to the guys in Russia. Be proud for the nuclear cloud which flew to Europe! Idiots!

  • @beto1987m This was in the Ukraine -_-

  • prypiat, ukraine. 20,000 people used to live there and now it's a ghost town.

  • @mikecheca2006 50,000 people. not 20,000 Einstein.

  • 17 moved back an died of radiation..

  • @HU4LjDog and then logged into youtube and disliked this video, make sense to me

  • @HU4LjDog not funny. at all. -_-

  • @walrusjuggs Agreed..so much.

  • This guy has no good info.

Are People who worked at the plant after it exploded and is still alive.

  • WTF? This guy is out of his fucking mind. Prypiat was not EVEN on the maps!!! It was a secret city, just like Chernobyl2/Duga was. And the ONLY reason that Prypiat/Chernobyl was built was to power a fucking weapon/Dgua3 , which may have been a super weapon. There were 2 more giant reactors being constructed JUST to power this huge antenna.

  • Да спасибо. Я люблю Припять.

  • The channels shown in the YT system of SS successor organization, and their children in 1th and 2th Generation as well as some fragments of the former Stasi structures (Schinzel, Mach, Strien, Treichel, Hase, Kaspersky, Havelka, Thörmer etc.), set the quota of the worldwide operating ALKAIDA - organization

  • Good short info video.

But you could at least have pronounced PRYPIAT the right way =(

  • @Zazquatch1 That was my first thought as well...

While informational pieces on the city are appreciated, mispronouncing the name takes away all credibility of the video.

  • this is in cod 4

  • @xLiLxBeAsTx11x YUP THATS THE CARNIVAL REMEMBER WHEN UR GETING SHOT AND THE CHOPPER COMES DOWN TO RESCUE U & THE OTHER GUY!

  • the city of Pre Pit

  • whay is the song

  • on my last comment sorry for the horrible spelling haha

  • Sad...so very sad.

  • i wish i could take a tour case im a photocopier and i bet there is potential for grate photos

  • @jigsawmassacre69 I am a photographer as well. I can only imagine the incredible photographs that could be had within.

  • Same shit in Japan, the world is messed up.

  • @lassdasoelfass= They build a nuclear reactor where earthquakes happen all the time. What did they think was gonna happen? It's like leaving a gun where a child could find it.

  • its kinda sad :(

  • that sign in the begining is from COD

  • @TheBIGJJR its used in the cod game the sniper part

  • @2010butchd yes.... we all know that, thank you. :P

  • @TheBIGJJR Wrong sir. The sign is IRL. Call of Duty used IT.

  • @penguinboy666 you fool. COD = CALL OF DUTY.......duuuuuuh

  • @TheBIGJJR ...........

Are you dense? I knew that. The sign. Is in. Real life. COD. Used it. In game. Wow.

  • @penguinboy666 u r retarded. we all know that's in real life. i was stating that it was in the damn game.

  • @penguinboy666 call. of. duty. sucks. wow

  • Comment removed

  • wow

  • Thanks for the information

  • Prip'yat' you fucking retard.

  • @Defektedurchhass does it really fucking matter how he pronounces it? you obviously understood him 'you fucking retard' get used to the fact that not everyone knows the fucking pronunciation, you twat.

  • would be a great set for a STALKER movie

  • i heard there opening the place for tourists a few days ago

  • @ResidentEvilDeadAim yeah, i think some parts are being opened, but you cant go inside Chernobyl Power Plant cuz heres still way too much radiation inside

  • Reminds me of cod4.

  • At least no niggers or beaners

  • Оооо) Припять)

  • all the liquidators died he says? heck more then half are still alive today"Among the 134 emergency workers involved in the immediate mitigation of the Chernobyl accident, severely exposed workers and firemen during the first days, 28 persons died in 1986 due to ARS (Acute Radiation Syndrome), and 19 more persons died in 1987-2004 from different causes.

    the first ones in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • there were almost 1 million liquidators...they didnt all die as this guy says..

  • could happen anywhere!

  • @pigletized thts really true, theres power plants freakking everywhere, i heard theres even one about an hour and a half from where i live. The plant's in Folkestone.

  • @MrHamanah2200 There's a nuclear power plant about 40- 50 miles from here and it still isn't enough power so they import electricity from Canada. This power plant is only a very short distance from a huge public beach and summer vacation area! There is also a Naval base. They where afraid terrorists would go after it at one time.

  • @MrHamanah2200 folkestone uk? that's not a nuclear power plant, but there is one in kent dungeoness and if it blows kents going with it

  • @1thedividedsoul1 yeah, thats probs the 1 i was thinking bout.

  • uhh....i think its spelled "pripyat"

  • @bloodsnow00 no, but its an easy mistake to make. i made it a few times. Pripyat is one name for it, but in its day it was either called Prypiat or Prypyat. :)

  • This is like some Fallout shit.Horrible story.Sad story.Poor kids

  • call of duty 4 brought this city to life

  • STALKERS man

  • the people there said wat would happen if they turned of the cooling system................................that happend

  • LOL Modern Warfare narrative..

  • how can people dislike this video it was a very sad event for the familys

  • 50,000 people used to live here, now it's a ghost town.

  • @MetalTheBest1000 cuz that wasnt already given in the info.

  • @OhSHITDUDEitsJON Obviously you didn't get the joke.

  • @MetalTheBest1000 Wasnt that Cpt MacMillan, CoD 4, All Ghillied Up?

  • presents a good movie from Pripyat poczontku the end of the fucking movie I recommend all Polish films and invite you on vacation to the Polish city of Szczecin

I personally think that the explosion at Chernobyl was the only fault of that technically damaged reactor

  • and yet there is still homeless people

  • Good video. But, get someone else to narrate over it.

  • Hmmm ,I don t know too much but i know there people can visit the city (it is a museum) and you can eat there at border of prypyat ,but you can stay there just 2 hours ,if you stay too much you can take cancer . I m looking for somethink interesting on internet .And i give a sub

    See ya!

  • In Soviet Russia City abandons YOU!

  • @smp156 haha except this is soviet ukraine

  • @smp156 gay

  • thx for answer man but :

'I always have something for peoples like you"

for that answer i give you subscribe

  • @SNAPplayer there is some mutants there, but most animals seem normal for now. nobody knows what will happend with their genetic picture over many generations in the exstremely radiated zone.

  • i have a question for you:

do you thing there are a lot of anomalies and mutants ?

because i think and i want know your opinion

  • @SNAPplayer Get out of here Stalker!

  • there are actually still some people living there

  • @Teasercop true, there is one resident, but she will soon die cuz she got radiation cancer cuz she grew her food in contaminated soil

  • Well it wouldn't matter because like alot of soviet cities in '91 it would've died.

  • The last few months I've gotten more into the hole Nuclear / power thing and I must say the Chernobyl explosion was scary and kind of freaky. I always wondered if people were able to go back even 10+ years later glad I know now. must be freaky what use to be a city just sitting there all quiet... I wonder if the government will just leave the plant there even though its been " sealed " . Anyways good video, thanks for sharing

  • Your pronunciation is a tad off but good for getting the facts out. (also keep in mind Ukrainian is a different language than Russian, and allthough it was part of the USSR, the Soviet red army you have in the background might confuse people)

    Hail fellow stalkers!

  • They copied this so much in cod with the radiation in the game too

  • Nice city. I wanna write on it

  • i saw this on history channel 2 hours documentary its insaane!!

  • I wouldn't mind taking a stop a stop at Prypiat on my trip to Europe.

  • 1:42 that pool is in modern warefare and the ferris wheel pics!

  • heard one guy in my town went to russia after the fall and road threw the country side. he stopped at one farm and brought a first edition of superman comic book for $20 american dollars along with other stuff

  • reminds me more of fallout 3

  • very sad

  • this is the worst global disaster to date in my mind.

for all the talk of iran these days developing a "safe energy plant" and not a bomb

given all there sanctions etc whos to say that they arnt cutting corners. im all for a safe nuclear program for any country but it needs to be managed tightly.

  • ill like to go somewhen to pripyat and watch it with my own eyes

  • I saw this place on Life After People.

    methodistgirl

  • Read it on Cracked(.)com, Its amazing how it looks though. Creepy as hell.

  • cool vid thanks

  • This video is a perfect first stap in getting to know the facts and dig a little deeper if interested. Fine job.

  • some tv show went there and searched for ghosts..........it was cool

  • i was just out of highschool at the time of this and we were so stunned that this could happen. even though we were taught.[ITS BETTER TO BE DEAD THAN RED],we were so stunned and shocked by this my little town was very quiet for many days.this was the second leak [3mile island U.S.A.] and this 1 was so much worse we all began to wonder if bombs werent needed because the world would end from all these leaks, and now it a gameplace for children to play.

  • This reminds me of a story my father told me, i was born in khatanga just a little south of the artic river, yet there are still abandoned submarines and also my father and his best friend siergie would go and explore them day and night because night in siberi looks like the afternoon

  • that would be super cool!

  • @AmentiProductions actually in 900 yrs it'll be gone the city will be wat it once was....a forest gelaming with everlasting life there and that park was supposed to open a day later but the reactor core exploding put a hamper on plans after leaving......so those rides will never be ridden sadly :( but ya it won't be there in 900 yrs so we're good

  • I wish I could sneak into the city with a fast car and drive around. It would be like owning the city.

  • You can get there for up to $250, and it is not so dangerous today, at least not everywhere in the zone...

  • is there still nuclear fallout?

  • The only thing more barren than this is Jennifer Aniston.

  • Good one. Funny.

  • HA!

  • exelenrt video 5/5

  • damn! must wait until 900 years until you can live there again...even it was after 900 years, you still cant live there normally since all life source was infected forever such like vegetable all plants animal and imagine you live there and cant eat or plant everything or touch the ground or swim in water or fishing,it was suck life..i think this city still become radiation city forever..just like hell's gate...

  • GET OUT OF HERE STALKER

  • and it's still better than Detroit

  • Haha.

  • @SLAPCHOPshamwow have you ever been to Detroit?

  • @SLAPCHOPshamwow Bravo!

  • sweet good info

  • It is sad...such a waste of a beautiful city.

  • i honestly didn't know what the name of the city was that was near Chernobyl.

I remember there was a lot of worry when it blew up

  • @HipHopMixstaz its still kinda cool that infinity ward included it as a major component of their game. and look, it's drawn a lot of interest from people who have played it. its interseting if you've played it cuz you actually walk through many of the sites of prypiat that have rather accurately recreated for the game. video games arent crap so dont be a fag about it

  • Look at his fucking name. The kid's already a fucking douchebag.

  • lol wuuuurd

  • @HipHopMixstaz as long as the game brought recognition to this place, and yes the game did give a little history lesson on this place, so you cant speak for everyone when you say nobody cares about cod4, speak only for yourself.

  • @escapedcops08 No he speaks for all grown ups. It's annoying as fuck to listen to all the kids rant about their precious CoD on YouTube videos that have no relevans to it.

  • @jawehawk thats the point... their just kids, thats all they can say about it, other than jerkin it to dead or alive and acting like they think that a "dragonov" is the name of a rifle. but what can anyone do about it? chernobyl and prypiat are now part of the damn COD world haha, all anyone can do is ignore the sad fact that kids will talk and relate to it for days to come. by the way COD sucks.

  • Comment removed

  • @HipHopMixstaz well COD4 made people curious to see history. That's a good thing and video games are entertainment for people with no lives. apparently you have one.

  • @pintorocker308

    Wrong.

    Video games aren't.

    MMORPGs are.

  • I want to see Prypiat gain

  • I do

  • I lived in Prypiat :(

i never my home like this

  • whos want to travel to Pripyat?

  • i do, i want to learn the history.
