  • I wanted to thank you like a LOT for making this so simple for beginners to understand!!!!

How much do you usually charge for your works on clients?

  • One question. Do you always state the obvious?

  • How much weed does fit in there?

  • its very nice ma'am.... i didnt knew it first that how to make a roll but ur video helped me alot.. thnx! <3

  • Thx for the vidio

  • i always wanted to know. could you use aluminum foil?

  • What are the dimension of your rectangle to roll the cone?

  • @EJsAdventures

muchisimas gracias por tu atencion y tiempo lo tomare en cuenta que tenga un excelente dia bye

  • What is this thing about scotch tape, it's just celotape!!

  • whats the size of that paper?

  • I wanted to say thank you for posting your videos. Very simple to follow and a little boost of confidence as I start my learning process.

  • @christapherable Thank you for watching, it means a lot to me. Glad you find the vids helpful.

  • i put mine in the stuff u put flower bouquets in it works

  • @csmitty456

HAHAHA.. I had the same question

  • where did you buy the paper from any specific store ?

  • @Rosy411 I buy mylar 20+ rolls at a time from a wholesale company. You can find mylar at party stores and also from florist shops if you don't need 20 rolls.

  • Very descriptive and helpful. Thanks!

  • where in the UK do u find the mylar wrappers??

  • @stardoll786 I live in the USA.

  • @stardoll786

u can use tht shiny wrapping paper.......tht u use for wrapping presents

  • @pakistan90 That is not true. Wrapping paper is too thin and will fall apart when you put henna in it. Mylar paper and wrapping paper are not the same thing.

  • @stardoll786 Cut apart some mylar balloons I guess

  • What about jacquard bottles? Do you use them also? If so, do you find them easier to use than cones, and what size tip would you recommend?

  • @Glaceon404 I use cones. I have used a jacquard bottle, and I prefer a medium size tip .007. I would not say one or the other is easier, because it is about personal preference. Some people find the cone hard to use.

  • @FreeHandMehndi Thank you! Your replies and videos have been extremely helpful to me as I have no henna experience. I've decided that I'll start out with some henna and cones from Free Hand Mehndi and see how it goes.

I have two questions before I decide on what exactly I'll end up ordering. First, how many cones would you estimate I would need to apply the paste from 100 grams of henna powder? Second, when I receive my henna powder should I store it at room temperature, in a freezer or...?

  • @Glaceon404 100 grams of henna powder once mixed into paste will fill 15-20 cones depending on the cone size. Henna powder should be stored in a cool dry environment. If your home freezer is consistently cool and will not allow your henna powder to become damp, then you can store it there.

  • could u use wax paper?

  • @muhita16 I do not recommend it. I think wax paper might be too stiff.

  • @FreeHandMehndi oh ok... how should i make my cones? y is it better if the cone is thinner?

  • @muhita16 You should make it how you like. I like thin cones when I do bridal mehndi. If I am doing a large design, I like a fat cone. I think you should make the cone however it makes you happy.

  • aaaaaaaww... OHM i searched always how to roll a henna cone :D

and i never know that i could watch it in youtube LOL thanQQ so much it was really helpul <3

  • where do you get mylar paper

  • @1041957mani1 I made a video about cone materials and where you can buy them. Please take a look at my more recent videos, you will find the info you are looking for there.

  • how long should I leave the henna on because im really dark, i plan on putting it on both sides of my hand and i would like to leave it on over night but i move a lot and im scared i'll mess it up. What's the least amount I should leave it on? Whats the max? and any tips on how to keep the designs lasting?

  • @bronxchic101 I have a video called 14 tips on how to get a dark henna stain. That video will answer most of your questions. You can leave henna on your skin as long as you can stand it. The longest I have left it was 8 hours. I slept in a reclining chair and rested my hands on the armrests.

  • @FreeHandMehndi Thanks a lot your videos really help :)

  • can you use regular foil like what we use to cover food?

  • @bronxchic101 No, that would not work. I have a video about the materials you can use to make henna cones, it is one of my newer vids.

  • @FreeHandMehndi Thanks

  • can i use foil gift wrapping sheet ?

  • @xluvsanya If it has foil on both sides, if not then you need the kind with foil on both sides. Some wrapping paper only has foil on one side. You can also use cello paper. Since easter is coming up, cello paper is all over the place, as long as you dont mind bunnies and eggs on your cones.

  • where du u get it from?????????

  • @1041957mani1 Get what?

  • salam sister,

I have tried making the cone with a paper. As I was about to apply, the cone suddenly burst and splatted everywhere. So is it coz of the paper ? or I must have fold somehow wrong. plz reply

  • Salam,

Yes, paper will not hold the liquid. You need to use a plastic paper like cello, or a foil paper like mylar. You can also use potato chip bags to make cones. You can find both mylar paper and cello paper at your local craft store.

  • cn u use foil>?

  • Foil would be too hard. Mylar or cello paper are perfect.

  • @stardoll786

Also, from what I have read, most mendhi recipes use fairly acidic ingredients. I wouldn't put mendhi paste in contact with aluminum and then stick it on your skin.

  • @zisguy Good point.

  • can you use wrapping paper

  • Great question, I will answer it on my next "Just ask" video.

  • cn u use foil?

  • Very helpfull video! I will put the link to your video at my homepage to show other people how to do that!

  • wat type of paper is it??

  • mylar

  • I can see ur hair in the reflexion of the "foil"...

  • Oh boy, I guess you can. I never watched the video. I should have done so. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I will have to redo it.

  • why does it matter if her hair is showing

  • I am a Muslim woman, and I do not wish to have my hair showing on video. Maybe I should change what the blurb says.

  • you make it seem so easy! thanks!

  • omg, that drives me crazy, rolling those things!!

  • Tell me about it. I just rolled 200 of them. Lol. I know your pain.

  • 200 omg, i can't imagine! doing a party?

  • I got an order for 200 this week.

  • you are doing 200 parties? omfg! well, congrads!!

  • Oh no, I got an order for 200 applicator cones. I wish I had 200 parties to do. Lol

  • oh, i was wondering how in the world you could hand that many! lol

  • Thank you. i looked on your account last week to see if you had uploaded any cone making video but it wasnt up then! I just applied my henna last night. the colour is darkening every minute love it. followed your instructions.. though desings are very wobbly after nearly 5 years! but worth the effort. thank you.
