hola que tal gracias por compartir esto...una pregunta es papel para envolver regalos o que otro papel me serviria te agradezco tu tiempo y pronta respuesta
@Rosy411 I buy mylar 20+ rolls at a time from a wholesale company. You can find mylar at party stores and also from florist shops if you don't need 20 rolls.
@pakistan90 That is not true. Wrapping paper is too thin and will fall apart when you put henna in it. Mylar paper and wrapping paper are not the same thing.
@Glaceon404 I use cones. I have used a jacquard bottle, and I prefer a medium size tip .007. I would not say one or the other is easier, because it is about personal preference. Some people find the cone hard to use.
@FreeHandMehndi Thank you! Your replies and videos have been extremely helpful to me as I have no henna experience. I've decided that I'll start out with some henna and cones from Free Hand Mehndi and see how it goes.
I have two questions before I decide on what exactly I'll end up ordering. First, how many cones would you estimate I would need to apply the paste from 100 grams of henna powder? Second, when I receive my henna powder should I store it at room temperature, in a freezer or...?
@Glaceon404 100 grams of henna powder once mixed into paste will fill 15-20 cones depending on the cone size. Henna powder should be stored in a cool dry environment. If your home freezer is consistently cool and will not allow your henna powder to become damp, then you can store it there.
sry for asking a lot of questions but i want to know: why is it better if the cone is thin? does it come out smoother? do u have a better grip if the cone is thinner when doing bridal designs?
@muhita16 You should make it how you like. I like thin cones when I do bridal mehndi. If I am doing a large design, I like a fat cone. I think you should make the cone however it makes you happy.

@1041957mani1 I made a video about cone materials and where you can buy them. Please take a look at my more recent videos, you will find the info you are looking for there.
how long should I leave the henna on because im really dark, i plan on putting it on both sides of my hand and i would like to leave it on over night but i move a lot and im scared i'll mess it up. What's the least amount I should leave it on? Whats the max? and any tips on how to keep the designs lasting?
@bronxchic101 I have a video called 14 tips on how to get a dark henna stain. That video will answer most of your questions. You can leave henna on your skin as long as you can stand it. The longest I have left it was 8 hours. I slept in a reclining chair and rested my hands on the armrests.
@xluvsanya If it has foil on both sides, if not then you need the kind with foil on both sides. Some wrapping paper only has foil on one side. You can also use cello paper. Since easter is coming up, cello paper is all over the place, as long as you dont mind bunnies and eggs on your cones.
I have tried making the cone with a paper. As I was about to apply, the cone suddenly burst and splatted everywhere. So is it coz of the paper ? or I must have fold somehow wrong. plz reply
Yes, paper will not hold the liquid. You need to use a plastic paper like cello, or a foil paper like mylar. You can also use potato chip bags to make cones. You can find both mylar paper and cello paper at your local craft store.
Also, from what I have read, most mendhi recipes use fairly acidic ingredients. I wouldn't put mendhi paste in contact with aluminum and then stick it on your skin.
Thank you. i looked on your account last week to see if you had uploaded any cone making video but it wasnt up then! I just applied my henna last night. the colour is darkening every minute love it. followed your instructions.. though desings are very wobbly after nearly 5 years! but worth the effort. thank you.
I wanted to thank you like a LOT for making this so simple for beginners to understand!!!!
