  • He makes me feel warm and fuzzy much like the kitties he so adores.....

  • @andiman45 He makes me want to barf like my dog .

  • conservatives need to stop spending their days thinking of new complex oppressive laws to make make society a prison, every-time they pass new ideological bullshit law it rains even harder

  • @oxjhan9

"Complex oppressive laws" You mean like C-68, the firearms act? Where all the sudden, law abiding citizens were made into criminals overnight? Was that Harper? Because I could have sworn it was Chretien...

Good to know only Harper passes an "ideological bullshit law".

Fail on so may levels man...

  • @rider4343

Yeah, the lefties never cease to amaze me with their comparing a Conservative to a Socialist. Wow. I don't get how they can cling to the idea that socialism is better than capitalism, when all they have to do is look at history.

I guess he's a love him or hate him kinda guy. I have a good job, don't like paying all the taxes I do and don't like paying for whiny special interest groups that burden society, so I guess I'm on the "love him" side.

    Enjoy it while it lasts!

  • Employment equity is a typical retarded socialist idea to punish average people in favour of minorities. See Sara Landriault, a white woman that was barred from applying for a government job because she was white.

I was unemployed in Ontario, moved to Alberta and started making a fortune. I talked to friends back home in the same situation, and none wanted to move to AB to improve their situation. So tough shit, don't bitch about not having a job if you won't do what it takes to get one.

  • TYPE CopsSayLegalizeDrugs ON GOOGLE

  • harperS cancerous personal beliefs is a reason to never forget to vote for The NPD, Google copssaylegalizedrugs

  • @oxjhan9 thats just what he wants you to do, the NDP will NEVER get in power, Harper has speant his entire life trying to destroy the Liberal Party of Canada, the party that made Canada what it is today! He wants the NDP to take the liberal votes. Do realize how weak the NDP is? Jack Layton supported the invasion of Libya in February. doesn't anyone knnow this. The parties are trying to push for "decorum" in the house of commons, but the NDP thinks it means praising ideas they diasgree with.

  • @oxjhan9

Gangs don't register their guns anyway... That's the whole point... You lefties just don't seem to get it lol. Kimveer Gill's guns were registered, and he still shot up Dawson College... What is with you guys hanging on to a failed ideology? lol

  • Comment removed

  • @oxjhan9

I would love it if we legalized all drugs. I think that it would take drug dealer shitbag's revenue away. I'm a classical liberal, therefore Conservative, but none of the political parties will legalize all drugs. So, either vote for the NDP and bankrupt the country, vote for the Liberals, who are just plain retards, (ie gun registry) or vote Conservative. There wasn't really even a real choice, even if I disagree with their drug policy.

  • @EruditeCanadian no offense i dont vote for unenlightened vindictive right wing nazi conservatives EVER. their ideals are unacceptable , im definitely going to support the NDP unconditionally come some election even if i have to wake up at 6am and travel in the rain for 3 hours

  • @oxjhan9

Unenlightened? Stephen Harper is probably the only politician I have ever seen that stays away from the emotional rhetoric. He seems pretty intelligent to me. He's got a masters in economics, so he's no dummy.

I don't see the comparison between Conservatives and Nazi's. Nazi's were socialists. Conservatives aren't socialists! NDP have more in common with Nazi's! lol

Also, I don't follow the vindictive comment either. Who does Harper show "unreasonable desire for revenge" towards?

  • @EruditeCanadian Nazi's were nazi's you dumb fuck. Dont compare them to socialist and we wont compare them to conservatives! enough said

  • @andiman45

Nazi is short for "Nationalist Socialist" you dumb fuck. They WERE socialists. Google it you worthless shit stain.

You left wingers are borderline retarded.

    Enough said.

  • @EruditeCanadian The Nazi party started as simply socialist but ended up being a fascist government. Fascism is opposed to conservatism, liberalism, and two major forms of socialism: communism and social democracy. It rejects egalitarianism, materialism, and rationalism in favour of action, discipline, hierarchy, spirit and will. You can be a fascist or have fascist principals without being left wing. People are comparing them to fascists and not socialists. I don't want to pay for wars.

  • @Kariakas

The funny thing is, Fascist and Socialism are basically the same thing in practice. Both you have one guy, or group controlling the entire government. Both ruthlessly suppress any opposition. Both control their economies. Both are very militaristic. Both are nationalistic, ie The German Fatherland, or Mother Russia. Both attain power by claiming to be "for the people", but afterwards strip everyone of their rights, freedoms and individuality.

Neither are close to Canadian Conservatism

  • @EruditeCanadian What you are describing is fascism and not socialism. There have been some fascist socialist governments but there also has been fascist right wing dictators. Socialism can work perfectly fine within a democracy but fascism cannot. Harper government is very nationalistic and pro military which are shared traits with fascist regime. In the US the military can arrest citizens w/o trial and wiretap w/o warrant, effectively stripping peoples rights, freedoms and individuality.

  • @Kariakas

The thing with socialism is that it gives WAY too much power to the government. All of the socialists on here that think a socialist government would treat protesters better than a conservative government have obviously never read a book.

The Harper government is hardly pro-military to a fascist/socialist level. Google red square military parade or north korea military parade. THAT's pro military.

  • @EruditeCanadian The people that put up these vidoes think that a government is there to provide for their every needs and they don't have to work for anything. Remember Jack Layton want to put in a minium income for all Canadians of $20,000..

Hell if the gtovernment ever did that, half the country would stop working and we would turn into Greece over night. No, these loonie lefties are suffering from liberalism which is a mental disorder.

  • Stephen Harper is the George Bush of Canada.

    Thumbs up if you agree.

  • For sure it doesn't point towards Quebec!

I'm not a separatist, but I feel glad to be from Quebec when I see cheap human being like Stephy being elected by the Canadian Bible Belt.

C'mon, this man shaked his boy's hand when he brought him to school... just fuckin sad.

  • HARPER IS AN INBRED MORON, I HOPE YOU GET CANCER HARPER!!!!!!

  • I think Harper's compass is broken :(

  • I Love Canada and the Friends I have made traveling. The one thing I missed was the Cannabis Coffee shops in Vancouver, after PM Harper took over. It was like it went underground like in the US. I felt bad for Canada, you are also loosing your Freedoms as we are in the US. Just Sad, People must fight back against injustice. If one is not Free then no one is Free.

  • FUCK OFF Harper you globalist piece of shit. You are an absolute disgrace to every citizen of Canada.

  • worst piece of shit to hit parliament, when he dies they should throw his corpse in the landfill

  • @collinb25

Trudeau was the worst piece of shit to hit parliament. Let's go dig him up and throw HIM in the landfill!

  • And this Ladies and Gentlement is our Prime Minister of Canada !!

..... boy, Canadians were dumb to vote this bozo in office again.

  • I usually don't judge a politician by a few brief statements. It's too easy to misunderstand their intent or take quotes out of context. In this case however, these quotes give a fairly accurate picture of Harper & his ideals. In order to really understand his true intentions/ideals, you need to listen to what he says when he doesn't think people are listening. One of his favourite tricks is to make a huge funding announcement to the press, then significantly reduce the amount weeks later.

  • brilliantly done. Get smart people. Think twice..vote once. And not for this guy. I'm ashamed to have him as our PM. I could say so much more here. But it's not worth it...and quite frankly, there isn't enough space ;)

  • how the fuck did we give him a majority?!??!?!

  • I love all the bitter twits bashing harper here. Bottom line is your welfare state, bureaucratic asses got handed to you. Best of all, you asked for it. Time to get a real job now and actually do some work, BOO HOO :(

  • @Pleasefireme80

    you fundamentalist consrevative dumb f--k

  • @consrignornt eat shit die spendocrat lol

  • @Pleasefireme80

    Go down south douchebag.

  • Harper needs a couple good punches to the fuckin head!!!!

  • "Canada is a Northern European welfare state in the worst sense of the term, and very proud of it" - Stephen Harper in a Speech to a Montreal meeting of the Council for National Policy, June 1997

  • harper hates jesus, he killed allah, he molests babies, eats dogs, fucks chickens, and takes it in the ass by the united states and does what ever they tell him to do, they need more canadian troops harper lies then sends the soliders anyways to die , fuck you harper you were in contempt of court which was grounds for re election then you ran ads stating nothing of your politics just hate messages towards other party members then you get a pat in the back with a majority government wtf

  • I've got to say, even with that collection of out-of-context quotes, I agree with every one of those statements Harper made. Harper doesn't want to dump public health care, he just wanted it to be reformed to increase efficiency. Harper is right, we need stronger relations with the US for future prosperity.

  • @edmoil12 "Harper doesn't want to dump public health care, he just wanted it to be reformed to increase efficiency."

How does he plan on doing this? "Harper is right, we need stronger relations with the US for future prosperity."

Every politician says those exact words. Meaningless. Fact is he's cutting social spending and giving it to corporations who don't need it, and wants to buy jets we don't need. He's in the process of cutting pensions for all future Canada Post employees. You agree?

  • @rhth79 no new fighter jets?????? would you rather have American pilots flying across Canada to check out a suspicious aircraft, could be a commercial jets radio malfunction, Russians playing with our boarders, they always do. i would rather see Canadian jets if you are opposed to the F-35 and believe another aircraft is suited better then say it and why. corporations are getting cuts so more foreign investors would invest in Canada, thus more money for company expansion, thus more jobs.

  • @Baseshocks Norad does the job fine. This argument doesn't justify the level of spending being suggested I'm sorry. We have enough problems that could be fixed with some the this money and it's never allocated in such amounts in terms of social problems compared to helping insanely profitable industries that don't need it. It just reflects the influence of these corporations over our political system. The public is fed these lame talking points while these corporations make a killing.

  • @rhth79 unions have gotten it too good for too many years, many Canadians pulling two jobs working hard to pay the bills and the government needs to raise taxes cause some union wants 4 weeks vacation pay instead of 3???? fuck that shit, the unions time has come and past.

  • @Baseshocks Unions have gotten fuck all compared to the executive branch in the last 30 years. God forbid the working class raise they're quality of life working for extremely profitable corporations. To hell with the middle class anyways I guess, I assume you'd agree. Your pov is that the unionized working class have it too good, while giving billions to the richest people is a good thing? It's the latter will be the biggest burden on the Canadian people in the long run in terms of taxes.

  • @rhth79 i have already explained why corporations are getting tax cuts, to create more jobs. and do you realize that any non union worker no matter what job they have, has to ether go back to school or move up the management ladder in their company to get raises, why should i and other non unions workers pay for your already well paid wages, most people get 2 weeks off a year, why should unions get better treatment.

  • @rhth79 cash collectors in Toronto TTC are getting paid $100,000 a year, the rest of us are paying for it threw TTC fares going up. I hope the government dismantles that shit of a union and give sub contractors all the work. NORAD does fine? what do you know about military aircraft, so what you suggest is that canadians let american aircraft fly over canada when the F-18 retires?

  • It makes me so sad that he wants to make health care private. I think health is one of the most valuable thing we have on this planet, it has no price and it should be available for everybody, rich or poor. As a medical student, it would upset me to know that the person i'm taking care of is going to receive a bill that he probably can't afford because the government has decided it would be that way.

  • Watch my Harper Video and spread the link if you like it! Long Live Democracy!!

  • I love all the bitter twits bashing harper here. Bottom line is your welfare state, bureaucratic asses got handed to you. Best of all, you asked for it. Time to get a real job now and actually do some work, BOO HOO :(

  • @Pleasefireme80 A real job as apposed to what?

  • @rhth79 Clearly, I was referring to the bureaucratic government jobs you mindless ninny. Try reading the entire post in the future.

  • We need an all access health care system that is not run by the government...and we should have done it a long time ago....both parties have nothing to offer to fund it because throwing money at it is not the answer/////As far as Harper is concerned he is the best industrial nation leader out there at the present time bar none///I have to laugh at people who compare Harper to the Republicans...Harper would be considered a left wing wacko by most conservatives in the States

  • NIXON? HARPER?

    I AM "not" A CROOK

  • lol I love blind dumb morons like whoever made this. Harper is the best leader we've had since ... I can't remember. When was the last time our economy was this good? We are ahead of the states in almost every economic function right now. I think if the Liberals had control, we'd be in the same spot as when Cretin was PM: a dead dollar and no one wanting to do business with us. I hope the Conservatives win a majority this election, and by the looks of things, they will!

  • @drexx101

Our economy is good right now? With a 56 billion dollar deficit? When both preceeding liberal goverments ran 12 billion surpluses?

If you further indebt the nation by 56 billion dollars, you can buy the appearance of a strong economy.

And whichever party inherits the governmental responsibility once the Conservatives are voted out will have the fun of paying off that debt.

Just as the Liberals did after Mulroney's 45 billion dollar deficit.

  • @Llyranon HMMM how do you think the Liberals would lower our deficit? They would raise taxes and borrow money. I for one would rather be in a small hole (sitting pretty damn pretty comparatively), than have to pay $3/ltr at the pump and $5/lb for bananas. Not to mention my middle income tax bracket would be making me pay over half of my earnings to the Government. So with all this taxation ... everyone's leaving and no one's here to pay taxes ... ya Iggy's a joke, he can go back to Britain

  • @drexx101

Well, one might theorize that the defecit could be reduced by...let's see, not giving billion dollar tax breaks to banks and oil conglommerates, not doubling our prison spending at an annual cost of five billion during a ten year crime decrease, and not coughing up thirty billion for an untendered fighter jet contract.

But that would just be wacky. I'd hate to be less than conservative in my fiscal policy...

  • @Llyranon no ... wacky would be to trust a man who wants total control without the public's consent. Military spending has always been a topic and always will be, no news there. And c'mon you don't think the Martin/Cretin gov't didn't give corporate tax breaks??? Keep dreamin! What's 'wacky' here is that even though Iggy won't get voted in (or even close) he will still ask the other parties to join forces against the conservatives simply because he doesn't like it ... how uncanadian can you get?

  • @drexx101

    "public consent"?

If you dislike the established rules of the parliamentary system of government, you should consider relocating. Any party can form a government in this nation if they can obtain the support of a majority of the democratcally elected representatives in parliament.

Don't like that? Leave, or change the constitution.

  • @Llyranon I think there's laws against a coalition - look it up genius ... lol like talking to a CHILD

  • @drexx101

ummm...nope. Not in this country "genius". You must be thinking of our neighbor to the south.

  • @drexx101

Just out of morbid curiosity...what do you think a deficit is if not borrowed money?

You warn that liberals will "borrow money" but the last two liberal governments managed to achieve budget surpluses. The last two Conservative governments borrowed billions to implement their policies, without ever offering significant tax reductions. Where did the Gst come from? Was that the same Mulroney Government that increased the deficit to 45 billion?

  • @Llyranon how do you think they got us 'out of debt' last time? they borrowed more money and hid it, and raised taxes. Liberals like to LOOK pretty but they can't do anything right. And enough about Molroney ... he wasn't the best PM the tories have come up with, but Cretin is the worst PM in my lifetime ... I still can't believe he was the face who spoke for Canada for nearly a decade *shiver*

  • @drexx101

    "borrowed money and hid it"

Good heavens. I don't know what to do with a statement this foolish, predicated on your accusation that the liberals would, if elected, borrow us into trouble.

The liberals achieved bedgetary surpluses of over ten billion. Conservative spending achieved deficits ofover forty billion. The party commited to borrowing is clearly the latter, to anyone whose vision is unobscured by the interior of his own ass.

  • @drexx101 You have a short memory and do not pay attention to what this guy has done. His is a closed minded partisan control freak. There is nothing he has done that we should be proud of. The other parties held his feet to the fire and forced him to do stimulus spending (that saved us) when just before the crash is finance minister released a preliminary budget that said all was fine and he was planning broad cuts. He is not the worst prime minister (Mulroney owns that) but he is lousy.

  • @sharper68 Who's laughing now genius?!?!?! Canada has spoken, and spoken CLEAR, Harper has a MAJORITY and will rule the right way - without interference from those wacky Liberals ... the NDP??? They lack the experience to give any real threats to the Conservatives. OH CANADA!!! oh ya baby MAJORITY government for Stephen Harper, the BEST prime minister to ever sit at the throne of Canada. WOO FRICKIN HOO!!! Now he can run a STABLE government and run things the way they SHOULD!

  • @drexx101 We will see, he has won and has no one to blame for anything he does now that turns out bad. His tactics of fear worked and a whole lot of people bought in, a whooping 25% of the population. Only a Harper con would call the seat of our prime minister a throne and expect that is exactly how he will treat it. I remember what happened to the last majority the cons had and expect something along the same lines next time we vote. Until then hopefully the damage will not be too great.

  • jesus fucking christ that music came on loud

    fucking asshole

  • GOD

  • @TheD3mac

"disdains public health"... This is just a complete lie. He wants to introduce a privatized aspect to health care which would in turn lower wait times, put more money into the health care system... which would improve quality of care, improve utilization of advanced technologies... the list goes on.

ALL IN ALL STEPHEN HARPER IS A VERY RATIONAL, LOGICAL, INTELLIGENT MAN; who want's he best FOR EVERYONE... quite honestly, Harper is the ONLY Canadian politician I feel is honest...

  • @aspectjones "I'm going to rape the poor and those in trying circumstances, I'm gonig to rape our land and our environment for years and generations to come for the good of America. But hey at least I'm honestly telling you about it."

  • @aspectjones

because proroguing a parliament that is about to issue a vote of non-confidence is "honest'.

Because refusing to release documents on the treatement of detainees when a parliamentary majority had VOTED they be released is "honest".

Because procuring funds for G8 without the approval of goverment is "honest".

Because restricting all press access to his own MP's is "honest"

Because slanderous attack ads are "honest".

  • @aspectjones A 2 tear health care system guarantees the bottom one will fail. It will force people into sitation where we HAVE to buy supplemental coverage from for profit insurance companies. It will degrade the public system and destroy a great service that Canada currently provides while increasing the cost for everyone. If you are rich this will mean nothing but "shorter wait times" as they go to the head of the line but for everyone else it will be brutal. I could not disagree with you more

  • @aspectjones Introducing a private system will kill the public one, it will not be long before we are all forced to buy private insurance just to get reasonable treatment. The insurance companies are licking their lips now he has won and I can expect another bill to pay just to maintain the status quo.

  • harper is a jackass and is an embarassment to canada i hope he does not win next elections ( NDP) Rocks fuck Conservative's

  • For his moral compass to point in a direction he would need to actually have a moral compass. He has absolutely no morals whatsoever.

  • @EndVivisectionNow That's what you think, you fucking socialist, if evil is what you claim people with common sense to have, then YES, he is VERY MUCH SO.

  • @BritneyHearts conservative slug

  • 1257 views... seems like no one gives a shit about you Stevie..... Oh yeah, Steve Harpo quote 2005 " the Conservative Party will not allow the Liberals to raid seniors hard earned assets by taxing Income Trusts"... Harper you`re just another shit stain lying excuse for a human being ( another way of saying "politician"). And the NDP and libs are no better....Our beautiful country has been hijacked by BUMS

  • Crash JP Morgan, Buy Silver

  • i love harper :) he's fantastic! conservatives know whats best for sure...the guy has my vote!

  • @CatieEyeCandy

    Then you're retarded !

  • @CatieEyeCandy oh they do? so we should pass laws to forbid gay people from getting married? we should teach intelligent design in school? abortion should be outlawed? religion and politics should be one? we should put shit on the earth and destroy the environment just for dumb capitalism? health care should not be publicized? do u know how many poor students i know who could really use that health care? or poor immigrants who came to this country because there was a war going on in ther country

  • @CatieEyeCandy if you support this man then you're nothing but a narcissistic sociopath with no empathy or remorse any soul whatsoever

  • i love harper. i'll vote for him again, conservatives are making canada a better place, and making up for lost time with those idiot liberals!

  • @xoLovexoLovexoLove

    Who paid you bitch ?

  • I'm Conservative, and am so proud of Harper. He's made amazing decisions for Canada, and still has my full support, and of course, my vote!

  • Harpers the man next election ill vote for the guy agian as long as health cares public i think harper will do fine in office.

  • @omega4chimp Give Harper a majority and health care won't be public for long. Mr Firewall Around Alberta, the crazed Western separatist himself, is spending out the treasury faster than a crackhead on a Friday night. We are now 56 billion dollars in the hole. It will take us a generation to repay the debt Harper has incurred in the last 4 years, on fighter jets no other country will buy & prisons for pot smokers. Harper will then say we can no longer afford public health care. HARPER IS A TOOL.

  • @omega4chimp HARPER SAID "ITS HIGH TIME WE SCRAPPED THE CANADA HEALTH ACT." Thats the legislation that guarantees that health care is public & universal. Don't you get it? Mr Firewall Around Alberta doesn't believe in our health care system. He wants the American model--where 45,000 people a year die because they can't afford treatment-WHERE ONE IN FOUR HOUSEHOLDS GOES BANKRUPT DUE TO MEDICAL BILLS. Harper counts on voters like you, who don't pay attention to politics. Harper is not your friend.

  • @mightymissk in reality our health care is a big fat POS, and i say in reality, becuase it seems a lot of you people are living in a dream land where our health care system actually works, lol, you know that "American model" you hate so very much? A lot of Canadians have to use that American model because in our health care everybody has to wait in line and most people die waiting, like my grandfather, jeez sure looks like all those taxes my family paid, really paid off, huh? go fuck yourself.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Wrong. Its the private US style system that is bankrupting 1 in 4 American families. The HMOs have the American people by the throat. Private health care is now a threat to the US economy. You are the one who lives in dream land. And "most people" accessing health care in Canada do not "die waiting." That's just a lie. But in the US, Americans really do die every day because they can't pay for treatment. Now YOU go fuck yourself, you nasty little right wing male bitch.

  • @mightymissk again, living in a dream world people in Canada die everyday becuase of waiting lines, deny it all you want but its happening, and to top it off, the average Canadian is being taxed to shit, to pay for a failure of a public health care system, I think its high time a 2 tier system was brought in so that Canadians can get health care when they need it and quit having half their pay cheque stolen to pay for A LOST CAUSE.

  • @omega4chimp

huh? Did you actually watch this video? Can you read? Understand? @ just 27 seconds into this Harper's quoted "It's past time the feds scrapped the Canada Health Act" speaking on behalf of the National Citizen's Coalition a group formed for just one thing...dismantle/destroy our health care system...that's what the Canada Health Act(that he openly states he wants to scrap)is about-public, universal and free health care for all...pay attention! You don't know what you're voting for

  • @omega4chimp

Did you actually watch this video? Can you read? Understand? just 27seconds into this Harper is quoted "Its past time the feds scrapped the Canada Health Act" speaking on behalf of the National Citizen's Coalition a group with only one purpose to dismantle/destroy our health care system that's what the Canada Health Act(that he openly says he wants to scrap)is about-public, free health care for all...Pay Attention! You don't know what you're voting for Harper disdains public health

  • parliment funkadelic

  • 1) Equality payment laws create INEQUALITY among people

    2) Harper has stated many times that he supports universal healthcare, I'm guessing that the quote there was taken out of context.

    3) He is currently reforming EI, providing more EI payments for people

    4) Harper is a Liberal compared to US DEMOCRATS.

  • @Lavitzzz 1) If Harper can in any way be called a Liberal, then so was Mussolini. 2) Harper is barely doing anything for EI, according to the people who actually need it, and he only went that far because of a non-confidence threat. 3) Harper said very clearly, while leader of the National Citizens Coalition, that he hates universal health care. Kind of like he also hates women, gays, and atheists.

  • @BoredomCorner You ignore my comparison and make an outlandish one. Look at the actual views of Democrats in the USA and the views of Harper, Harper would be a left leaning democrat for the most part. His stimulus which EI was a part of was actually very impressive and the largest stimulus out of any country for GDP to stimulus ratio. That was a very long time ago, and has he said anything since or tried to privatize healthcare? I'm an Atheist I don't think he hates me or hates gay ppl or women.

  • @BoredomCorner: Ah, the old Harper = Fascist mantra. Rather insulting to anyone who experienced life under a true fascist government or who served to defeat one. Schmuck....you're the one who lives under a rock.

  • @raynus1 at 44 i doubt you lived under a fascist regime or served to defeat one... The war we are fighting right now is just the same: a scheme to move money... Lookup Prescott Bush and World War II you'll know what it's about... I know his rhetoric is limited but don't be the devil's advocate... Mulroney sold us to the US (then moved there... must really love his country) so did Harper...

  • @skillzflux:

Of course I haven't...but many have, including many Harper supporters. Comparing Harper to a Nazi is, well, just silly.

Maybe Mulroney doesn't like our winters. I certainly don't.

You tin-foilers need to get a grip.

  • @raynus1 you need to pick up snowboarding or some winter hobby... Canadian winters are magical... Don't get me wrong i love my country... I just don't vote for OBVIOUS crooks

  • @skillzflux: Nah. I prefer to spend my winters down south. Arizona's nice...especially on a bike. Having lived under the crooked, corrupt, and morally bankrupt Liberals, Harper is actually a breath of fresh air. He will continue to garner my support...even from Arizona. Enjoy your winter!

  • @raynus1 sure...mythomaniac. Your two-faced patriotism is a feat of hypocrisy only equalled by Harper and yeah trading a crook for a despot who also is a crook really is a good deal...

oh and btw anyone find it funny you've 4 suspiciously named accounts shouting pro-harper remarks on the same date? (2 containing eyecandy in the name) surely no one does propaganda on youtube... okay now I remember why I didn't wanna argue with you Aynus1: you probably get a check for running your stupid mouth.

  • @skillzflux: Lemme' get this right. Because I don't like prairie winters, I'm somehow less 'Canadian' than you? I didn't realize climate tolerance had any bearing on one's patriotism. So much for lefties being open-minded and accepting.

Then, because several other posters with pro-Harper sentiments join the conversation, I'm labelled a CPC operative?

Apparently, I was right about the tinfoil hat...

  • Harper is a very solid PM and a tough political opponent.

    Liberals are in disarray.

  • @raynus1 A solid PM who suspends Parliament to avoid tough questions, has contempt for democracy, covers up war crimes, and tries to turn us into a police state?

Get out from under your rock.

  • @BoredomCorner: Still upset about the treatment

of your unemployed anarchist buddies at the G20? Too bad. If they represent what you and your leftist goons stand for, then I'll take Harper any day. If our current government was truly gravitating toward a police state, would they be attempting to repeal the long gun registry? Doubtful. Your logic is flawed, and you're a paranoid social miscreant.

  • Harper's gone next election. Canadian's are fed up with fascism and will vote for Iggy who's steering the party back to the center that has been vacated by the Reformists' hijacking of the Conservatives. Of course that's why I'll vote Green. And Layton sucks!!!

  • latest polls say if we were to go to an election right now, not only is harper not gone, he's got his majority.

Please, please go out and read a newspaper or two before coming on here to comment.

  • A rather condescending comment - particularly from someone who equates current polls with a potential future election result. Why have an election at all? Just take a poll, extrapolate, and then hand over the government to the statistically predicted winner. Reading aneswapers keeps you current. Reading more than one newspaper gives you insight. What Conservative rag do you cut your teeth on daily? Canadians may waffle week to week, but come election time there will be NO Tory majority.

and the economist... that enough for you?

Fine if polls don't work for you how about an increasing mandate in two previous elections with a voting trend that continues to swing right.

I am in fact not a a conservative, i just recognize which leader is the best for the country right now and i would like to hear you intelligently debate the point though i doubt you can.

don't bother responding, i already don't' care what you have to say

  • You betray your ignorance and immaturity by asking me to intelligently debate my point, then insulting my ability to do so, and finally showing your close-mindedness by stating that you don't care what I say. No federal conservative party will win a majority being this far right. They may have united the right, but that enjoining with the extreme right has always historically repelled small-l liberals come election day. This time may be different, but history says otherwise.

  • @caseyr1 Actually every poll consistently shows Harper to still be in minority territory -- in fact some very recent polls suggest he'd hang onto his government by the skin of his teeth, if an election were held today.

Canadians as a whole, do not trust the guy at all.

  • @BoredomCorner I commented on this a long time ago. But if you're reading polls that incorrectly you may need to do a bit more research into Canadian electoral history. When there is a sitting government many votes go to fringe parties like the green or the block. Some of these percentage points will be invested back into the government and the opposition once an election does occur.

  • @BoredomCorner And if you think many of those points will go to the leader of the loyal opposition, you have not been reading a newspaper this past month.

  • @caseyr1 Actually every poll I've seen says that he -- at best -- still has the minority he's got now.

  • I wont whoever s going to build more schools and jails who's that?

  • @GODDAMEFAGS The feds can't build schools anyway, and building more jails does more harm than good, according to people who actually know what they're talking about.

  • @BoredomCorner: "Building more jails does more harm than good according to people who know what they're talking about". Just who are 'those people'? You want me to believe that we'd better with Olsen and Bernardo hanging around the park? That Canada would be nicer if drug dealers, thieves, murderers, vandals and rapists were allowed to move freely among the rest of the population? Right...society would be so much better off. Honestly, liberals subscribe to the idiotic.

  • @BoredomCorner Jials are good ever live in central downtown edmonton buddy?

  • Terrific indeed, Harper is pretty awesome. The first true conservative Canada has had in office for a long time and yet he has compromised on some of his beliefs to appease the left.

BTW, Iggnatief is far more like Bush then Harper is, you would find that out if you actually did some research and read some of Iggy's past work.

  • Yes Iggy is like Bush, both are accomplished authors.lol' Harper a true conservative? What was his compromise if he was $15 billion dollars in deficit before even mentioning the words Stimulus package? This putz cut the GST by 2% and gave up $36 Billion in tax revenue without the balls to then cut programs it paid for. Instead he ran us on CREDIT, a real Conservative my ass!

  • You can thank the Canadian populus for the lack of program cuts. Look what happens every time any Prime Minister tries to cut something, there is outrage. I mean do you remember the arts fiasco? He needs a majority to do anything serious, that is the problem.

Seems like the only thing the Left wing turds in this country want to cut down on is our military spending which is severely underfunded already.

  • I don't speak forr the left, I shoot from the center. . Harper has not even controlled spending intact he has spent more than any previous Government period.. He is a farce and a lie. He dropped $5 Billion on 100 tanks over two years ago. at the expense of our long range patrol aircraft and supply ships in our north. His tanks have yet to be delivered to A-stan and will not provide any sovereignty role once returned.

    Great purchase! Great planning!

    Great PM!....not!

  • The Liberals actually stand for an increase in military spending, maybe if you did YOUR research, you would know that.

  • Terrific! I wish Harper's comments were in Black - the blue, with that particular font, make them hard to read. I hope someone does another more updated compilation video of some of his comments on Human rights & Canadian citizenship - as related to Khadr, Abdelrazik (the Can. stuck in Sudan), & several others, as well as hr for Afghans, etc. Anyway, thanks for this!!

  • Excellent! It is about time that people remember what Harper really stands for!
