Every1 should take into account this video was done 2 years ago AND i dont believe it was done right nor did people understood why the seats snapped back like they did. Racing seats were meant to be used with harnesses which incase of an accident like this simulation, you wouldnt be sliding back regardless.. if you had a harness bar behind you the seat wouldnt snap back as much either (that goes for both seats in both videos), now if you had no harness and got the seats for looks and feel on...
@clutch23q street, than unless you a) stripped the rear seats etc ( then you most likely would have a roll cage and harness bar ) the seats wouldnt snap back as much as in this video. b) you have a car with backseats, i doubt the rear seats are spaced that far that the bucket seat you use will be horizontal in case of accident hence, both seats in the end will have the same level of snap back and c) you have a 2 seater convertible then... you get the point. PS it was 10 years i think not 2...
@nitrousxxxcam Wrong and wrong. As someone who has been in accidents where this happens with OEM seats, let me tell you that is the last thing you want. When this happens, centrifugal forces pull your head from your neck and whip your head. The forces from this can cause severe neck injury up to and including broken neck and death. That's not what you want.
