No member of Congress is "allowed" to sit in on any of the private meetings held by the Fed. The Fed chairman goes before Congress to give "reports" periodically but they are not regulated in any way. I guess that my poor "personal choice" has been to sacrifice for the last 25 years and save my dollars in a 401K and two IRA's for me and my wife, so that we would be able to retire and not depend on the govt. for our needs. But now, due to the fed, proving that money really does grow on trees, and with them driving the dollar to shit , I now see that I should have done like so many others and blown the money, had a damn good time, and then let the tax payers support me in my old age.

Currency is only a means of barter for goods or service. There can be no gold standard or mineral wealth to back up all the paper currency in the world. Even if gold or mineral wealth is there to back up paper it's only good if others choose to accept it. They don't have to, nor do you have to accept a gold standard.

Ron Paul bringing the truth to the surface! Ben Bernanke made a deliberate decision to bail out failed wall street banks by extending them credit to pay down their own ravaged balance sheets. Ordinary consumers will not see a lick of this credit extended towards them. No member of Congress is "allowed" to sit in on any of the private meetings held by the Fed. The Fed chairman goes before Congress to give "reports" periodically but they are not regulated in any way. All the money they create has interest attached that OUR GOVERNMENT has to pay back to THEM!!! So.. 2/3 of the Income Tax Collected goes to pay back the interest to the FED aka JP Morgan and the other International banks who DO NOT HAVE THE BEST INTEREST OF THE USA or it's sovereignity!!! I am in complete agreement with Ron Paul's support of the Constitution. I don't agree with his approach to civil rights equating inequality to property rights. That's like Republicanism on steroids. By the way here's the real history on taxes as per the U.S. Constitution. the federal reserve act was signed into law in 1913, then we had the roaring 20s due to inflation from the federal reserve, and then in 1929 we had the great depression. the depression happened after the federal reserve was created, not before.

It's challenging to me to witness how a great & brilliant man like Dr, Paul could be ignored or 'marginalized' by the mainstream media. I've never have seen a more worthy candidate but I guess society at large has another agenda as opposed to electing the most qualified candidate. However, I willl continue to support this noble civil servants career.

Obama wants nothing to do with Ron Paul, neither does Hillary. This is why the media worked hard from back in March of '07 when they started the "Presidential Hopeful and Long Shot Ron Paul" -- Almost every interview RP has they begin with this. But, when nobody Obama and limited actual experience Hillary jumped up to run, they treated them from the beginning as "probably" candidates. There is no reason to do this unless they want to control the sheople who "listen" to and "parrot" them.
