That's the sole reason as to why I went with Choice Banded Absol on my Dark team. Absol's attack is huge but Scizor's defense is much more powerful so that's why you may have to give Absol Fire Blast instead of Pursuit for not just Scizor but Bronzong, Metagross, Forretress, and Skarmory.

That's just my opinion. You did great though.

Alas, my Absol is Scarfed. I could perhaps make it Banded if it doesn't work out though. Fire Blast is probably out of the question as its Adamant though.

I'm not saying choice scarf absol isn't good, i'm sure it has its advantages. But I think Swords Dance Absol is the best

It'd be risky but could work. However, Absol might be a little too slow to pull it off well.

What gets me is how come scizor seem to be able to take special attacks?

I know its great on the def stat, but how come it seems to be fine on special attacks as well?

Its base special defense isn't that bad actually. It's 80 and with a decent nature and good EVs and IVs, it can take special attacks pretty well.

When you consider the fact that Scizor has only 1 weakness and combo that with many resistences and 1 immunity, I can see why.

Guess it isn't classed as the number 1 OU pokemon for nothing

somehow the game was De-synced.. the commentator said that the red corner cannot move and it was Confused while they said that (on Snorlax right after u used Confuse Ray the first time)

That combo of Snorlax and Salamence is effective, but it's really annoying.. so many switches.

That's the second Scizor I've seen with a Sitrus Berry. Maybe that item's gaining popularity.
