But I think most would agree that lower spec and cheaper price is a good option. Something that Apple doesn't seem to think when it comes to mobile devises.

I choose to buy the Google products and the tablet I'm getting this month costs more than the iPad. Some cost more than Apple. Those ones obviously respond to the touch and do waaaaay more than Apples version. Don't get me wrong, I own an iMac, but as far as portability and the mobile market is concerned Google is the way to go. Cheap or expensive.

If you look at the makeup of the market, the vast majority of potential buyers are not devoted to either side, and will simply buy whichever product they think is better. Whoever makes the best product will win the most middle ground, and whoever wins the most middle ground will win the war. It's not complicated, and Apple is a lot more vulnerable than some will admit.

@santaana36 And I've seen the exact same issue with iPhones and iPads. Sometimes it's hardware related, sometimes software, sometimes just the person's finger not making a good interface. Don't automatically assume it's the fault of the OS.

But even if it was the OS, it was only a fleeting issue, and one that will surely be eradicated by the time the software hits the mainstream. At the end of the day, it kicks the iPads ass and Apple fans know it.

you just wait and see, the upcoming mobile phones have 2ghz cpu (dual core) and 1-2 gb of ram. most of them are sized between 4-5 inch.
