This is my favorite movie. The performances by both Javier and Rob are amazing. Became a big fan of Dali and Lorca from this movie. Amazing.

is this movie out in theaters already? how come I haven't seen any coming attractions or heard anything about it. The first I heard of this movie was here on utube while checking out Robert Pattinsons newest movie Remember me which was awesome and sad.

Robert Pattinson made the love scenes look believable. I found it touching. No need to shy away from it. He made Dali a compassionate person. The bike scene I love a lot. Just lovely to watch. The music in this movie is fantastic.

I agree that his performance was remarkable, it didn't feel fake for a moment, but I was even more impressed by Javier Beltran's performance, he was incredible, the role fit him perfectly, I hope he'll make a career out of it... The other thing is, while I do love British English, I was touched by Javier's accents... particularly when reciting poems ! I can't speak Spanish but if I could find mp3-s of him reciting Lorca's poems I'd be willing to listen for hours ....

@ByRequest2000 I also admire Javier Beltran's portrayal of Lorca. I noticed that all the male actors are all good looking chaps. A conglomeration of handsomeness. Whenever I think of Little Ashes, I feel sad. I lighten up when I picture the bike scene. It's heartbreaking that Dali couldn't get his act together as they say. But Dali is a tortured soul and wounded souls are hard to understand. My last comment: the music in t his movie haunts me. So beautiful.

this movie was so sad. They were so passionate at first, but then it all just died out because Dali was caught up in fame and fortune. its so unfortunate this movie is based off the true story. I really liked Frederico, he seemed like a such a genuine and innocent person and didn't deserve what he got in the end :(

Rob Pattinson, does a good job, but the one to watch is Javier Beltran. He is so gorgeous, and soooo brilliant. he does a great job capturing his characters feelings and displays them correctly.

I have to agree Robert was absolutely phenomenal in this movie, I admit that I'm a Twilight fanatic, but his acting goes way beyond what it was in Twilight. I hope people will appreciate his talent more as an artist than frame him as Edward Cullen all the time. But I also have to admit him kissing Frederico made me feel disturbed and upset but since their both so freaking good looking and charming..it was a little bit of a turn on too lol. Great movie, worth the watch =)

the movie is simply fantastic and roberts acting is IMO beyond anything hes ever done. Anybody who watches this will immediately forget Twilight. He should do more of this kind of movies where you don't know what to expect from him. One of the best movies I have seen in years. Robert should get awarded for this role.

With this film Pattinson confirms that he´s really a terribly bad actor. I saw the film in London and it was another cheesy film, but more pretentious than Twilight, ´course. Laughable to say the least. Don´t waste your time (assunimg you really like movies and you´re not a Twilight retard like the millions out there)

Javier Beltran (Lorca) is the only one who shines in this movie. The director is not the most inpired guy either, far away from being an Almodovar. It was a boring movie (including the couple of lame nude scenes) but you better check yourself.

Io spero invece che sia in ogni modo più assoluto lontano da quel film. Spero renda giustizia alle vicende dei tre artisti, in particolare all'animo originale e distante di Dalì, e soprattutto che racconti senza cadere nel banale i sentimenti di Federico per lui. Pattinson non mi piace, ma lo ammiro per il coraggio con cui ha accettato questa parte. Nudi, baci o altro.
