The Mhanks will deny this but those old enough to remember the 70s will certainly remember this being a Rangers chant, as soon as the filth sung it, and polluted the tune it was no longer used.
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na...Na Na Na Na.........CELTIC......loved this chant with our supporters in the jungle at Parkhead way back in the early 70s when everyone was packed in like sardines, And the bastard behind pissed on the back of your legs and there was fuck all you could do about it, Apart from going home after the game wet and smelling of someones urine, I must admit i did likewise! Those where the good old day's...........Hail-Hail.........!!!
because there is a big irish connection between liverpool and glasgow as that is where most of the irish settled when they moved from ireland to flee the troubles and all the other stuff that happened in the 1800's mate
There are lots of people of Irish descent in Liverpool and Glasgow (a good few who pretend to be as well, but let's not go there)... but not much of a connection otherwise between the two cities in my experience.
what you on about!!! you asked a question and i gave you the answer, most of the people for glasgow and liverpool are from irish descent, that is why you see so many irish tricolours at liverpool and celtic games
Yeah they do, What about the feilds of anfeild rd what liverpool sing which celtic sung first but which the real lyrics which is the feilds of athenrey. then one of the tunes everton play before kick off which is hail hail sung and played before kick off at celtic park or for its real name it's a grand old team to play for
Yes and the Beatles came from Liverpool, and John Lennon's father was Irish, and Paul Mc Cartney's mum was Irish too, that's prob why they were so talented.
Wrong sorry. Troubles were between 1969 and the Good Friday Agreement (Or the Belfast Agreement) not the 1800's. During the 1800's there was the potatoe famine though which starved 1,000,000 Irish people to death and forced another 1,000,000 to leave their homeland and head for the likes of Glasgow, Liverpool and America. Hence why around 88,000,000 in the world today claim Irish heritage (not sure on that number, that's what I heard in school) - A true Irishman ;)

I know that. I don't know many Scouse Weegies or Weegie Scousers though... it's not like Liverpool sings Glasgow songs.
