Zoom H4 (H4n)recorder v JuicedLink DN101 with Canon 7D

You could actually hook up your H4n directly to your dSLR and record on it instead of using the JuicedLink. You could record audio both on the H4n's SD card or just your camera. I agree with the earlier comment that JuicedLink pre-amps have more hiss than using the H4n.

@primeimages, both solutions are inferior. Since then i use good pre-amp (SD MixPre) to feed the signal to Zoom recorder.

good test. they both sound great. so with the zoom you had to sync the sound, but the juicedlink is plugged into the camera right? thanks. which do you prefer? trying to decide on which one of these to buy.
