  • where do you need a modelled lightsaber?

the only thing i could believe was a 3D animation movie..

  • das hat mir echt geholfen danke :)

  • i dit it another way please look i am a bigginer

  • That lightsaber video of yours? Looks pretty cool!

There's always hundreds of different ways to model something. I just found this one of the easiest.

  • Yeah, I know ;) But seeing as I don't live in the US where some people find it disturbing to use a few curses here and there, I see no problem with it :P

  • your tutorial is very good, finally i found someone saying only the necessary things, no useless crap. GJ

  • Thanks for the awesome comment! Thanks dude!

  • no problem :) I wan't to make some movie with lightsaber.

Btw I'm beginner to blender so if you'll post any other models I'll surely use your tutorials ^^

  • I don't want to disappoint you, but I don't think there'll be any more tutorials for Blender in the near future. It's been a very long time since I've worked with this software (unfortunately) and it would take a bit to gather the motivation and actually do something with it again...

  • you've hurt my feelings :(

    he he

    :P

  • Aww, I'm sorry ;)

  • Oh no!!! Is it Bob?! So what's he going to do this time? Rape me as well?!?! Oh god!

  • when you resize the handle, you're supposed to press shit Z right???

  • I haven't done anything with Blender for quite some time, but as I remember it, pressing Shift Z limits the current action to all axes but Z. So I think you have to press Z only if you want to make it longer. If you want to resize it in all directions don't press anything, just scale it. If you only want to make it thicker and not change the length you press Shift+Z.

    I hope this helps.

  • 5 stars, great vid! Can you maybe make a tutorial on how to make it so it doesn't look so organic? Other than that, awesome!

  • Thanks!

I was thinking about that. Maybe sometime in the future we'll be going in depth on the grip. Making it look just like it should.

    Thanks for the tip!

  • GREAT, very helpful! More Blender tutorials in the future?

  • Maybe if I get my mic working and my site working right. Then I'll probably put 'em there. Let's see...

Thanks for the nice comment though :D

  • How do you look at it from the side like it's 3D?

  • What do you mean? The different views? You change those either by accessing the view settings (bottom left corner of a window) or by using the number keys 1,3 and 7.

  • Wow- nice- i think alota other tutorial peeps out there can take some ideas just from the first 5 seconds of ur vid, The render first off really helps show ppl what its gonna look like and what theres should look like :D

    Nice

  • Thanks! That's exactly what I thought and I appreciate it, that people get the point.

    Thanks for the friendly comment!

  • Thats ok , ill start puting the renders first in my videos :D

  • 5 stars

  • Thanks a lot!
