At the end of the meeting, Congresswoman Porter said she doesn't take campaign money from corporations and lobbyists. That's not true. Go to OpenSecrets org and see for yourself. There are many corporations and PACs in the list of her top 100 contributors. We need to get rid of politicians who think we are ignorant and won't check into statements like this.

lol nice scrolling text. you can cut costs without cutting services... its called negotiating better deals and setting up standard testing procedures based on success rates. You dont need tort reform if testing protocols are established and it would greatly reduce the amount of unnecessary procedures. The Cost cuts proposed are really savings as a result of streamlining an inefficient system and negotiating better deals with pharmaceutical companies.
