H3's not a Tahoe. It's based on the Colorado frame. As a matter of fact, the only thing it shares with the Colorado are the frame rails. Everything else is unique to teh H3.

Jeep fanboys. Take a show-room-stock Rubicon and a show-room-stock H3 Adventure, which are about the same cost, and the H3 will follow the Rubicon pretty much anywhere. It'll also be far more comfortable for every-day use and gets about the same gas mileage..

Don't compare "built" Jeeps to stock H3s. That's stupid.

Take two H3s with the ~4:1 transfer case. On one, remove the engine or eliminate compression by removing the plugs or taking the head off. Let the other one idle. Send the two down a long steep grade. They won't arrive at the bottom at the same time.

Im fine with the out takes. they are there not because the truck couldnt get up the hill. the driver picked a crap line and could have rolled it. Ive seen trucks flip in that same spot. It happens quick especially when u have lockers and its Not pretty... With F/R Lockers a V8, 33s and a 4:1 Tcase that truck has more guts than any prissy Range rover. I have an 06 Rubi and a 98 TJ both have lockers and 98 has a V8. The H3T Alpha is next on my list.

This is a capable 4x4. every 4wheeling mag will atest to it, ..BTW they dont get paid to give good ratings, you should know better. from the factory..32's frnt/rear lockers, great v8, good low range (think 4:1) frnt/rear tow points, great approach-departure angles, good flexible suspention & opt-beadlocks. Ive driven in and wheeled one..my Opinion (CAPABLE 4X4). other than rampovers (any pickup is weak here)

BTW. i guess your 4x4 has NEVER seen the end of a tow strap...You need to wheel harder.
