Now I'm not going to diss you for not knowing...Everyone has to learn sometime.... All rsx's have the vtec. The type s redlines a little higher then the base and has 200 horsepower.....The type r is the racing version.

i have the same car as you, same exhaust, the problem was that i melted my bumper but then i went to pepboys and bought the heat resistance tape and tape it over the bumper and problem solved. But too bad it melted my bumper a little before i came up with the idea.

actually, they the 05 and the 06 have the same horsepower. The SAE ratings just changed. It is the exact same engine. The 03 04 have less horsepower.

They both have the K20Z1 motor which makes 210bhp, and with SAE correction 201bhp. The reason you think that the 06 has 201hp is because you're reading numbers that are SAE corrected. How could the exact same car, having only a difference in model year, have different hp numbers?

The 05 and 06 cars have the exact same engine. The 06 is rated lower because the SAE changed the way power is rated. Most cars in the market were re-rated lower than in 05. For example the VQ35DE in my dad's car was taken from 260hp to 250. The Honda S2000 went from 240 to 237, etc. etc. Look it up if you don't believe that cars can sometimes be down-rated. Remember, it doesn't change anything, as the engine still puts down the same 170ish HP at the wheels.

should have never came on unless you have a header. Try reseting your computer by un pluging you battery. See if that helps. For no reason should CEL come on from a catback.

You can still hear the intake kick in the vtec. The skunk is really a great buy, only for '02-'04 models though due to the factory lip on '05-'06s.

If I had an 07SI I would get the Greddy TiC. I've seen them on the SI's and they looks sick as hell. The tip is that bluish look and it's tilted like the HKS, but not restrictive like it. The skunk, htough, is kinda loud, but a nice sounding loud. I would've kept it if not for my melt issue.

LOVE the sound and quality. Power gains are very noticable for just a cat-back, but it will melt your lip on 05-06 models. I have Greddy Evo2 now. I miss the sound of the Skunk2.
