Keith started to fall off on Spankmaster. Esham's production sucked but Keith still had some classic verses on that. The cream of his career was Octagon, Black Elvis, Matthew, The First Dooom (his best album in my opinion), Analog Brothers, and Diesel Truckers. I've really tried listening to everything else but his cadence has got so boring and predictable and he is now recycling old lyrics waaaaay too much. He needs to stick with Automator or Kurt...even though Dooom 2 was boring.

@jyamma76 I absolutely love Keith & do agree with some of what you're saying. However, i think you have it wrong about Spankmaster. it's a superb production & although it has a few average tracks it has some superb Keith cuts that stand up to anything else in his career. more recently i think the Project Polaroid album stands up as a good Keith album & i also believe the Mr Nogatco album has some fine cuts too. all in all Black Elvis his best imo & every Keith fan should have the Collabs Tape

@jyamma76 i don't think he fell off, he just stopped trying to please underground rap critics. keith has always made his music the way he wanted to, and always dissed the industry and critics and tried to be different.

@Mohammets i've heard them both. to be honest I think kutmaster kurt's beats are a bit boring. great production on diesel truckers and project polaroid (which thankfully doesn't have kutmaster) has some awesome music.... that said, much like most other albums since octagon (we're both talking about the one from 1997, right?) kool keith just doesn't sound as crazy or inspired.

at least keith doesn't sound like he's on valium though like he does on doom 2. thanks for making me dig those up again though, it make me discover Nogatco Rd, which is pretty awesome.

I still stick to what I said. my favourite is Octagon. (but not the terrible 'return') It's completely original and the music is top-rate,not to mention Keith is completely out of his fucking mind and so fast he's almost too hard to follow. Almost.
