  • I am a Sundancer who carries a lifetime committment to the tree and the people. This song touches my within and is so beautiful. The previous comment is written by a woman friend from England. I thank her for her words. Her heart is good and I am proud to call her "kola." She has the "ears to hear.the eyes to see but most of all the heart to feel." I honor her this day. She sent me this song to start my day and I am grateful.

  • love, love, love this song : )

  • I questioned my own belief when my brother was beat in his own yard, by some drug addicted cowards on Christmas Day in front of his family. Retaliation and revenge, is all i could think of. I wish i would've taken that beating instead of my brother. I wish i could of took his pain, I wish it was me who had to recover, physically and mentally and emotionally. It was a senceless act of cowardness. " It's hard but you said it and you meant it, but would you keep on going"

  • I like to listen to this song when there is uncertainty in my life and it always puts my mind in a good place.

my mom cause shes a sundancer

&& so am i its Good

  • Traditionally women were not allowed to "Sundance".

  • women are not aloud to sundance? iv never heard such a thing! who says!

  • not that i know of but in the ojibwe culture anyone is aloyd to sundance. women didnt have to pierce because they already go through enough pain from birth

  • Sorry to burst your bubble the "Sun Dance" was not historically or culturally part of Anishanabeg ceremonial ways. The Anishanabeg only arrived on the prairies in the 19th century and only received the "Sun Dance" from the Plains Cree in that time period. I agree women were not allowed to offer. But as in everything else 'women's lib'' took care of that. Anything goes now a days.

  • madmusician44

Obviously they dont need all that autotune crap to make there voices better because they're good just the way they are, natural even, and I'd like to see you do better which I am pretty sure you can't. And one of them just happens to be my mother's cousins' husband and they are so good that they are nominated in 5 categories for Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards, so what do you have to say for that?!

    By the way, awesome song!
