  • Entertainment is suspension of time and space, so that you realize your true nature which is spaceless and timeless

  • HAPPY 50TH BILL!

  • If we made all television public access we would get more worthwhile television programs. Corporations are greedy assholes all they want to do is sell and buy they don't give a damn about the consumer or the people watching their stupid fucking ads. People need to take back T.V. and Radio and start putting on stuff people want to listen too and hear.

  • "If the words 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on."

    - Terence McKenna

  • He had alot to say.

He had alot of nothing to say.

    We'll miss him.

    I'll miss him.

    We're gonna miss him

    We're gonna miss him

  • @mynamesrickjames

I think that quote from "eulogy" was directed at L. Ron Hubbard, not Bill Hicks. Great song though.

  • @ryneanders sorry bro, DUI'ng on the tube

  • keep thumbing up the comment "3 people who disliked this video enjoy sucking satan's cock". that'll encourage shills to believe in that they love sucking satan's cock.

  • He was the best ever, just didn't live enough to write all his material, imagine him older, damn he wouldn't let no one pass.

  • I believe Bill was aware of his terminal illness when this was filmed. interesting to think about.

  • REASON is how the highest part of our superconsciousness makes sense to our consciousness here. Many do not know this. Many IGNORE THIS and many do not understand what Bill Hicks was saying. If you do you know why he got in trouble, censored, and finally died super early from cancer. Its no accident.

  • Stop watching TV. If we all do that those power structures will crumble. Practice Awareness. Breathe Deeply. and then give some money to a street musician. We will awaken our inner Samurai and Resurrect the wild open freedom of what this country once was. "Burn down the malls." -Mojo Nixon.

  • Preach to those the way Bill did, not to the Youtube Choir.....Occupy Wall Street

  • the last voice of reason...

  • 3 people who disliked this video enjoy SUCKING SATAN'S COCK.......

  • @Glenmead Sucking satan's pecker... Suck it!!!

  • @Glenmead

6 months later, still only three dislikes

  • @morosepoet I kmow man....Not bad..Bill is the man!

  • Assassinating the president at this point in history is like shooting Punch & Judy, or causing harm to one of Jeff Dunham's dummies.

  • rupert murdoch is the antichrist,he would kill his own family to reach his goal,he must be stopped,if you dont have a balanced media ,your fucked

  • We should have assassinated Bush lol

  • @tojisuru32 no lol

  • Love that little salute he does at the end :

"American television networks : At Your Service, Sir."

  • thank you so much for uploading this!!

  • the letterman material was "unsuitable" because it was identical to a previous work by Dennis Miller. his explanation was bullshit and propa propa gan-DA propa propa gan-DA propa propa gan-DA (let's mambo!) propa propa gan-DA.

  • @diddymuck PROVE OR GTFO

oh yeah, "unsuitable material" doesn't mean material that was plagiarised; it means material not safe for viewing. Same way porn is unsuitable to minors not because it's been done before, but because its porn. To put this in terms you will understand.

P.S. If you think Hicks' standup is random insults then you have never heard or seen Hicks' standup.

  • @MoebiusPan Prove what? (it is random insults, BTW)

  • Freedom of expression is guaranteed, IF YOU'VE GOT THE MONEY

  • @joznick1 ever hear of the ACLU?

  • @joznick1

That's so horrible isn't it, because it's so true.

  • Bill was a guiding beacon for us all to exemplify; within yourself is a Bill waiting to be unleashed. Each of you who watch this, unleash it, and you will unleash it within all those around you...and maybe we can try and change the world, and Bill's ride won't be a waste.

    ♣♣WORST YEAR EVER♣♣

    You don`t belive me

    Charles Bukoski die

    Kurt Cobain die

    Bill Hicks Die

    Justin Bieber born

  • @saprissa30 . . . I was born. :/

  • I love his comments on Bush. Excellent!

  • I would hope that Mr.Lynard Skynard "woke up" eventually from His Hicks encounter....

  • We miss you, Bill.

  • cool ! ha ha wrong meeting khalid geire

  • I love it, I work in advertising and he's right it's all about grabbing people by the balls and never letting go.

  • "There's a change coming out.. you can't put out puerile crap 24 hours..." The one thing he was ever wrong about? It's only gotten worse in the past decade. There is no demand- not that I can hear anyway- for genuine programming. I guess people of intelligence stopped watching television a while ago, but there are apparently enough people watching VH1 (etc, etc, etc) to keep it running.

  • @lanegwyn Listen to what he says next. 'They'll be chaos on the streets...'

  • @lanegwyn So true.. we are doomed.

  • Bill underestimated how docile people could become. We have more TV channels and faster Internet connections than ever, and we're collectively dumber and more cut-off than ever.

  • Assassinating Bush... I couldn't've thought of a better idea. Bill was so very cool.

  • 01:16 thats why they are called CSB, cause thats all you get to see...BS!

  • @Conspiracyknowledge CBS = Corporate BullShit?

  • @Izahdnb nopp. CBS = See Bullshit! thus, CBS

  • The part on Bush was so true, I'm surprised the Fundamentalist Christians didn't try to assassinate him

  • I hope everyone caught that:

Entertainment is suspension of time and space so that you realize your true nature which is spaceless and timeless.

  • bill is arguing against collectivism read or watch some ayn rand peeps=)

  • Its like it was tapped yesterday

  • @logdizzle uuhhhhh... no one really cares what you look like. everyone hates a look alike too

  • Logdizzle,

Sadly the world we now live in is exactly the world Bill warned us about. I sometimes think Bill himself is better off out of it listening to Hendrix on Harp. I think if he'd have lived on he would have gone 2 ways. He would have either been an activist or would have killed himself at the futility of it all. In the UK and we have a comedian named Frankie Boyle who's prescence on a TV show was the only reason people watched. When it went prime time he was dumped. He has Bills heart.

  • We need to move on. It's what Bill would have wanted. Who's got the balls to be the new Bill? The New Bill of Right(s).

  • @Hewster doug stanhope?

  • haolekillah - nice one!

  • Bill was taken in 1994 (1+9+9+4=23) at the age of 32. This symbolic display of broken symmetry is evidence of an illuminati plot to rob the world of its true leaders and silence the voices of those who show us the true path.......

    Sh*t, sorry wrong meeting !

  • @MirrorSymmetry haha...masterful!

  • @MirrorSymmetry You sir, are doing gods work.

  • @MirrorSymmetry 2pac died in 1996 (1+9+9+6=25) he died at 25. Broken symmetry is bullshit

  • @MirrorSymmetry non sequitur.

  • non

  • @MirrorSymmetry lol why would the illuminati leave clues like this.. come on now.

  • @seigneurvoland666

are you taking the piss ?(joking ) if not ? your a piece of shit !

Bill Hicks just said it like it ..IS !

  • @MirrorSymmetry the only reason people like Bill Hicks aren't recognized more for whom they are is you, and people like you, people I like to call dumb ass mother fuckers, go sprout bullshit somewhere else.

  • @GenusCastor

i agree with you big time ! Hicks was no "conspiracy theorist " He just said it like it IS!

  • @MirrorSymmetry also, fuck you

  • @MirrorSymmetry not pictured, intelligence

  • @MirrorSymmetry alright

  • @MirrorSymmetry Yeah because no one dies of natural causes anymore, everyone is assasinated and everyone needs to wear a tin foil hat. Paranoid much? Sometimes things ARE what they seem.

  • Imagine if he had lived and gone on to do his show up until now. Just one episode a week would have made such a great impact on the world. Not enough people know this man ever existed.

  • such a visionary. ani difranco once said, "the best minds of my generation can't make bail," and I think that is mostly true. But I would say, "the best minds of my generation are outshined, censored, exploited, and supressed under a din of utter pure and prevalent NOISE."

    Bill Hicks is sorely missed.

  • i can't find a download of the video of this interview anywhere, just the audio...

    FAIL

  • Thanks for posting this, missing Bill quite a bit these days. We need him.

Also would like to thank the person who gave him mushrooms in F-burg - thanks for supporting him in the manner he chose, instead of what might have been imposed upon him. Anytime you feel like telling that story, just holler.

  • Yeah I know mate, absolutely brilliant. I'd love to sit down and have a beer with a guy like this.

  • Love ya Bill, miss your good work. I think the world needs more guys like this to put things into perpspective

  • Thats gotta be wierd talking about the future knowing your not ganna be there to see it

  • WTF is wrong with the audio?

  • This is I'm guessing taken from VHS which is not the best for audio plus this is also a Public Access broadcast from the early 90s. Regardless of the audio, the words from Hicks just show that we no longer need to just listen but to open our eyes and actually take a stand!!! regardless of intellectuality or social standing!

  • Saturated, gain was set way too high.

  • what a shame the audio wasn't scrubbed to improve clarity...

thank the Jebus that we still have these archives of such a brilliant, committed man...

  • Thank Superman

  • I want my Arizona Bay T-shirt and bumper sticker

  • thanks for posting. faved

  • god damn i love hicks and all you hicks fans out there. now go check out stanhope.

  • I love you too.

  • i watched a little of stanhope, maybe not enough, but i wasnt too impressed.

  • Bill Hicks would have FUCKING LOVED Youtube

  • I think many of the bill's thoughts come from mushrums trips!

It's such a good spiritual drug

    I did one time

    and was fabulous!

It really open your mind in a certain way that you think that you realize the truth about everything!

  • its good if you dont have any "skeletons in the closet".. i've done them 4 times, and have had 3 bad trips.. and my good trip was them not even kicking in at all.. but they do have the potential of being very thereputic

  • Watch control room. Its About the middle east and shows some of the false news created by the U.S. Government.

  • Bill was a true visionary..he couldn't have been more correct on this. Legend.

  • interesting indeed . . . all true hicks fans should see this - I'm surprised more have not seen this post. I've watched and heard quite a lot of his material but I never knew about the show he was piloting in Europe during his last days . . . thank you for posting! P.S. - can the complete interview be found anywhere at all? [ Thanks Bill! You are missed brother! ] : )

  • Got to be the glasses hahaha

  • I Don't Think It's The Glasses, I Think It's The Beard

  • He had his third eye squeegeed. You hear that? WAKE UP YOUR FUCKIN THIRD EYE! IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW, LOOK IT UP!

  • Great video, horrible audio :(

  • Right now, Bill Hicks is rolling in his grave... like a giant turbine!

If you'd connect him to a power generator, he'd generate so much electricity that he'd supply enough juice to kill off every greedy jackoff who is responsible for the shit world we live in today with an electric chair.

  • haahah creative

  • People that think Bill Hicks is bitter and not funny are the same type of people that think Rush Limbaugh is inttellegent.

Bill Hicks is the definition of "cool intellegence"

  • @doggypound1 "cool intellegence" Good definition !

  • @doggypound1 Yeaaaaaaaaah, like pro-abortion, pro-drugs, chain smoking, random insults lodged at the Southerners, gun-owners, land owners, corporate institutions, and the medical industry. Cool intelligence.

  • @doggypound1 Rush Limbaugh IS intelligent. "Rush Limbaugh is most talented educator we have today" who said that? the Reverend Jesse H. Jackson.

  • @diddymuck Reverend ≠ Intelligent

  • @ThisIsUngood jesse jackson is not intelligent??? I gonna tell on you to the press.

  • @doggypound1 He is intelligent no doubt, but he sadly used it for the wrong method. His soul was sucked out of him faster than he could conjour satan. He used Satan in his act directly and disrespected the Cross

of freedom. THat's where he went awry. Too bad, he could have been great. And he is bitter, can't you see it?

  • @oatstao he wasn't bitter, he just wanted people to see that things could be much better than they are.

  • @oatstao

    Are you serious man??

What has the symbol of the cross ever done to earn respect in the first place??

Religion has been around for over 1000 years and hate and malice still roams free in this world despite(or because of?) of the existence of religion.

Oceans of human blood have been spilled in service to religious doctrine.

Thousands of children have been sexually exploited in the Christan church.

If thier is any evidience of Satan's existence, It lies in the heart of religions.

  • @doggypound1

Religion has been around for over 1000 years

    around for over 1000 years

    Religion 1000 years

    oh boy

  • @Uberdoppelganger

I don't get what your trying to say.

    What is your meaning?

  • @oatstao That's your interpretation. Part of his act is the frustration of the world conforming to the 'system' and not seeing what big multinational, unbrella corporations are doing to them that have a seemingly infinite amount of power

The acts hardly going to be the same if he dons a posh english accent and says "Oh you Americans, you simply must open your proverbial eyes!". And to be fair, we should all be angry in the way the world runs. 9/10s of us humans are in poverty for Christs sake

  • Racism and elitism, two sides of the coin of destruction that uses the divide and conquer method to destroy us the 99 percent, Occupy Wall Street!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @doggypound1 sorry, he's not.If you're considering entertainers, I would say Tom Waits, because he has the good sense to stay away from politics.

  • @pretorious700

No need to apologize Pretorious700. Your just stating your opinions.

Hicks was mentaly unstable from what I hear, so that explains his erratic over the top style.

That being said, he was still a very intellegent person, although he was not a pure entetainer, but more of a critical analyst

  • I really liked your channel and this video. If you need any help getting this video exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.

    I like what i watched.

  • addics steel and rob at an alarming rate 80 % give or take of inmates did there crime drunk or hi

  • I think it's great that people are talking about what Bush deserves, but the argument I would pose to Bill Hicks is that we should put Bush on trial where the death penalty is an option, rather than assassinate him.

  • Yeah. And try his son too while we're at it.

  • I meant the son. Bush Jr., for the yellowcake from Niger lie.

  • Hicks trully hates Bush, but i would have loved to see him live to see W in the white house.

  • In a film called Human Traffic they refered to Bill Hicks as a late prophet; damn right he is

  • I love that fake laugh that he does when he is mocking something or emphasizing a point!

  • It's almost frightening.

  • And it always comes easy.

  • Bill Hicks - a worlwide way beyong things that could have been have said on a USA network - still typeing these things years on - fuck the networks not allowing bill to say what he wanted to say

  • good man

  • What ever happened to that show? Did he go through with it?

  • Bill Hicks was too 'REAL' for television.

Just like anyone else who is brave enough to incorporate the 'scary truth' into their art, he was ostracized.

It's a f*ckin' shame how politics has poisoned every aspect of human existence.

When did it become unacceptable to speak the truth??

  • What's scary is that he had cancer at this point, the punchline is that he was losing. If you ask me it was very sad and now were all searching for a voice, I hate to say this but I don't think its Barack, I'm not racist so don't even accuse. That voice may never return. Or be found. That's also tragic.

  • No. I'm black and I agree with you.

Obama worked his way through the same establishment--kissed the same asses, did the same song and dance. His calls for "change" were too vague to believe in.

Hicks, however, had a profound disgust for the state of America, and placed the blame at institutions we're taught from birth to revere, or at least tolerate. He was brave enough to spark "controversy" over his views. We need more people willing to do that, especially in these times.

  • Everything he said still stands today and couldn't me more true. Ahead of his time

  • yes

  • Very interesting thanks for posting this!

Bill Hicks was a good man - true to himself and all of us.

Is the full tape of this interview available anywhere?

  • both the george bush's are dicks.

  • I heard when he was a kid, he was hiking in this ancient forest and found the glasses sitting on a 600 year old tree stump with thorned vines entangled around the bark. He lifted the glasses from the stump and a bright light shone upon him from the skies. A voice said, "Bill you must wear these glasses to spread the truth among your brothers and sisters". Bill slipped on the glasses and smiled, a strong energy flowed throughout his body. "I understand, I will go and spread the news".

  • that is pure comedy

  • God would he love whats going on now. Or maybe not.

  • Just because Dubya has a very bad record doesn't mean that Clinton wasn't bad too.

  • What is really needed is a 767 flying into the next Bilderberg meet!!

  • and club of rome, CFR ect. then we might be ok.

  • haha he shocked me when he said"we should of assassinated bush" i agree, honestly i dont see how someone hasnt killed him yet.. when the secret service is gone, hes going to have to hide for a couple year..

  • Not sure if you're referring to Bush Sr. or not, but just saying that Hicks is definitely talking about Bush Sr with that comment. Just friendly FYI.

  • Bush Jr would have to hide even longer than Bush Sr...

  • The revolution will not be televised!

    Fuck the new world order!

  • Thank you, Bill---for so much...

  • the voice of free speech, bill hicks.
