@lanceurdehache Well as they've continuously said, everything they've shown were just placeholders and they're always improving. Even the voice work is just there temporarily as it's just a demo.
@DisturbedKoala but they writed on their blog : "Until now, you have only seen our placeholder versions of the conversations" so that means that those 2 video are final cinematic, isnt it ?
@lanceurdehache Not necessarily. They have also written and said in interviews they have an iterative development process and are “creatively fearless.” Meaning that if they see something they think can be done better they will try to do it better, even if that means going back to “square one” on something that had been finalized for over a year. They've done it before. Repeatedly. Ranger pets, attributes, energy, profession mechanics, the sylvari race....all have been "finalized" more than once.
@lanceurdehache This isn't the first time they've shown improvements on things they've previously shown or talked about. It's not the final product until they say it is, and there was no mention of it being the final improvement. They've made it clear many times before, "everything" they show are just placeholders. Even these new improvements are simply there temporarily until they improve it further, as that is what they do.
Keep up the great job guys. I'm more excited for GW2 than any of the other big titles that came out this week and the past few weeks. Can't wait till the release!
@Spondoo Lucky for you and other serious PvP enthusiasts, this game doesn't force you to play PvE before getting into PvP. If you so wish, you're able to pvp from the start.
@GW2Guru It feels 'out of the game'. In any RPG, I prefer my conversations either in the style of Oblivion (zoom on face) or in the style of War in the North (cinematic camera). With the system displayed here, you're drawn from the world of GW, have a conversation and are dumped back in. It suspect it may ruin the immersion.
Seriously, where are all these Centaurs coming from? They have been the tolkin bad guys since GW2 videos started being released.

This is definitely more immersive that SWtor's convos with static mannequins that exchange one liner quips.

I'm sorry this sounds as if someone couldn't go babysit kids so this skimpy looking tramp comes up and says "Don't worry I can do it!"
Doesn't sound gruff enough for wartime if you know what I mean. "That's the spirit that'll win this war" sounded so corny.
Irregardless I couldn't give a shit about story. This game's PvP looks too damn good to pass up.

@Spondoo i think the video is more about a demonstration on technical progress.
not about the content ;)

@Chompyburguer Because - unlike you - he understand I'm not talking about animation. I'm talking about immersion

@TerrorWolfX And for you what is immersion?
