I remember this scene from the show. I would say that it was one of the best damsel in distress scenes that was shown on Dragnet. And did you see all those pics of the women that he had tied up and later killed. The way that they were tied up, they had really no chance to really defend themselves. Another episode, that was good, was when Sgt Friday and his partner found a young hogtied and gagged, but was dead in her apartment.
@lovegirl12245 Yes. He picked his victims up from a Lonely Hearts Club. He later confessed to Sgt. Friday that the reason he killed them was because they wanted him to. They said that they'd rather be dead than be with him. If the movie ended like the series did, I believe that he was sentenced to San Quentin's gas chamber (back then).
