  • Retail VHS, wouldn't know about the rental as I can't remember when it was when I first saw Darkman. But the retail tape from the mid to late 90's is the version this was encoded from.

  • I know there is two UK rental VHS releases of Darkman. One from 1991 and one from 1995. The second version was put out to coincide with the release of Darkman 2.

    I don't know much about the sell-thrus though.

  • It wasn't on any of the rentals, it was the retail version. My grandad ran a video hire and I used to run a Sam Raimi website, so I'm sure I would've come across it before that particular retail version.
