So cute! Doesn't really look like "ballet", but still a cute dance! And I dont see anything wrong with the costume. I'm a dancer and instructor and I gave my girls a similar costume for their recital 2 years ago, and no one had a problem with it.
for everyone saying this isnt ballet, this is ballet for kids this age just starting out. my studio does the same the same thing. in class they start the fundamentals but on stage they do something cute. they're young. they shouldnt be expected to look as professional as you all seem to think they should.

Like we did a version of "The Nutcracker" for the small kids and I was the Sugar Plum Fairy and that dance was A LOT harder than looking behind the curtain for my teacher to tell me the next move or just simple spins and claps. That's not dance, that's day care.
