@tnorman36 well im def not on steriods seems i have to be drug tested for powerlifting meets, and i run a 5.5 at 320 and i always get told that im quick as hell for my size, and yeah starting varsity on team that went 10-1 and lost to the state champs in the 2nd round isnt seeing the field at all
@MrMuffins1000 5.5? Maybe you should lose some weight and work more on your speed if you want to play in college, or even think about pro football. FYI, Brandon started at Colorado and was great player. He was in the middle of double day workouts preping for his Pro Day right after playing a full season and overcoming some injuries. The pros dont do a max squat test at pro day to determine if you can play, they look at game film, agility, body control, VJ, 40, etc.
@tnorman36 yeah ik i work on my agility and speed, i throw for track so that helps works on my footwork, and ik the dont look at a max squat, but when ur way stronger then everyone else it shows in the game film
@MrMuffins1000 Cool then stay fat and slow, be stronger than everyone else and see where it gets you. Maybe you can compete in Strong Man one day, but you certainly won't be in the NFL if you think a 5.5 forty at nose tackle is gonna be sufficient.
@tnorman36 im not all fat like most 300+ pound kids im actually pretty solid, otherwise i wouldnt be able to lift as much as i do, and terrance cody ran a 5.6 and had a 22 inch vert at the NFL combine and was a 2nd round pick, i run a 5.5 and have a 24 inch vert and im pretty much the same size as him...just sayin
@MrMuffins1000 A little bit of sarcasm but at the same time I always want the best for any athlete who strives to reach their goals. I'm not always right, but my knowledge and experience with thousands of athletes over 15 years has led to a pretty clear understanding of what it takes to make it, and sustain performance throughout a long career. You can either learn a little from my comments, disregard them, or find answers elswhere, either way I wish you the best.
@MrMuffins1000 just so you know...I have a 6' 9" 360 pound teammate that has a 27" vertical. Anything under 30 for a normal size athlete is pretty terrible, I dont care what sport you play lol
@MrMuffins1000 P.S. "Quick as Hell for your size" doesnt mean your quick enough. Instead of spending energy critisizing others who work hard to get better and be their best, you should worry about yourself and be supportive of others who put the effort in to reach their goals. What comes around goes around, and nobody likes to be around a "hater" or someone who is negative and puts people down. Just my advice to you MrMuffins, take it for what it's worth...
@tnorman36 well actually when i asked that b4 i was being kinda serious, cause i thought theres a bunch of highschoolers ik who can do this with ease, so i rlly didnt no if i was alot stronger for how old i am and if hes kinda weak for wat hes tryin to do
@MrMuffins1000 Cool well then my answer is you are strong, and Brandon was not at his strongest at the time of this video. I still suggest you put greater emphasis on movement and losing some lbs to make you quicker, that is if you want to absolutely dominate people, be strong and fast, not strong, fat, and kinda fast for your size.
@LRGHMN well seems i jus got off a broke foot and just started squatting again i def cant do it right now, but prolly around end of summer i should be back to that

@MrMuffins1000 No your prob just on steroids and do nothing but lift weights. Prob can't run or change direction and never even see the field.
