The E90 3 Series, in my opinion, is the greatest 3 Series that there is. Don't get me wrong, the E92 is great, but, the E90 had the 325i, 328i, 330i, and 335i. The E92 only has the 328i and 335i. We own a 2006 E90 325i with Premium, Sport, and Convenience packages. All I have to say is that it is only rated at 215 horsepower, but it feels like a lot more. BMW is known to rate their engines at the very roots. So, therefore, another manufacturer might say that the engine makes more. Superb car.
I took one for a test drive. Not many cars drive like a BMW. Great power, very comfortable, amazing handling, and good price for what you are getting =D Unfortunately, it is hard for me to stay within the speed limit lol
the N52 engine in the 325 really is amazing! (i should know, i have one). but it sucks that it was tuned down so much... i'm looking to get a chip from burgertuning or an ecu reprogram from turnerraceing. anyone know about these?
TSX is about as weak as they come. I had a 97 Integra and it would blow away a TSX anyday. As far as the BMW is concerned....Driving a BMW is fun and very rewarding.
i got the 325i, and came with pretty much everything. sports package, entertainment navigation, tech pack, ski bag, luxury package, etc... I'm getting 30+mpg on the highway so its pretty good and comfortable on commutes. No major problems yet... hoping to put in bmw performance intake and exhaust soon, possibly making fuel economy even better.
I own a 325i sports package and I hate it. There has been so many problems it's almost hard to believe. Entire entertainment system/navigation died randomly, got that fixed, then the knob on the shifter comes off randomly twice, got that fixed, then the front tires needed replacement cuz they were making a loud noise, got that fixed, then the clutch pedal popped loose, had to get it towed, got that fixed, and then an hour after I got it fixed, it happened again, another towing experience there.
It's because you were using the run flat tires that it comes stock with. Unless you don't mind the loud noise and uncomfortable ride, I recommend you just get regular tires, and throw a spare in the trunk. What year is your car?
2006. It's just had nuisance problems. I know it will last a long time it's just the customer service and stupid little things that has had me irritated up to high heaven
Well I'm probably the best guy to ask. This is between the BMW and Mercedes in this situation, the others don't have a chance especially the accord (wtf were you thinking?). I have a BMW 325i wagon auto and I have to say best car I have ever had great handling, excellent interior, and comfortable and the straight six engine sounds great.
My grandmother has a mercedes C280 great car too BUT it less performace and more comfort wise therefor if you are more just"cruising" orientated that's the 1.
lolz i thought of accord coz of its king sized shape and classy interiors, since the new V6 does compete with all these...
and yeah i am more cruising oriented..and moreover this would be my first car after a 7 year-old matiz lol..so i am thinking about merc c class rather than a straight bmw or audi brand..wat say ??
Always buy german if you have the money trust me it will save you much more trouble besides, Karl benz invented the first motor car! Well in your case if your buying new and what a nice relaxing cruise, go for the C-class it's more of a grandpa style car, as for the audi A4 it doesn't have the same luxuries and it's a more hard ride and if you will get an A4 don't buy the 2.0 tdi please I had one it sounded like a tractor also the audi steering is very numb, a good C220 cdi with an auto is great
yeah i am not interested in audi or bmw brand since their lower or starter models are not so luxurious and classy as compared to the starter model of merc (c-class)....i love the audi especially the a6 and the q7 among suv's...but there's time for that..as for now a c-class would be satisfying and best in that particular range.
Yeah, right. You probably haven't driven either one of them. I've driven both and read too many comparisons between the two, and that lexus is hardly sporty. You must be a lexus salesman.
I am also in your shoes if you are talking about the 2006 models. The benefit for the AUDI is that it is atleast 1 g cheaper. The con is that it looks exactly like the new Jetta. The 06 BMW is good because you can't tell the difference from a 2006 model to a 2009 version y0.
Yes, I was looking around 2006, 2007. My damn cousin made me fall in love with the AUDI a8 though. I guess if I get something in that class I would look into the 7 series. It's a shame gas is so expensive for a car only getting 15mph.
I own a 330i w/ premium and sports package for 3 years now and still love it the feeling everytime I put my foot on the accelerator!!! I owned other cars in the past and BMW by far is superior in terms of handling, breaking, and high speed driving.
Don't test drive a BMW unless you are prepared to buy it on the spot. That's what I did in March '08 (a "certified" used 2005 325). A year later the car still amazes me!
I agree but still no match for Audi's A4 tail lamp... that's stuff is an art but then A4's front looks so boring I wish I could combine BMW 3's front with A4's rear end.
ok im about to buy either a 2006 BMW 325xi or a 2006 Mercedes Benz C 350. I know the BMW is a pure driverse car and the Mercedes has a better interior but what do you guys think i should get?
I drove many cars so far but I think the 3 series is the finest in terms of comfort, stability, performance, features and looks. I think BMW cars very different from the rest. You just cant beat it.
go with the 325i if you're getting the sports package. The ride is unbelievable. Otherwise i dunno, i'd go with the lexus is350 over the es any day...but bmw sport is the way to go
he clearly loves his car more than he loves you AND what kind of 3 series do you have? The only BMW that i know of that has 300HP is the 335i coupe...

pull away from you because of its power?wtf does that even mean.Ur dad is clearly making excuses4why he doesnt want you2have this car.He has nothing legit bad to say about the car so he's just pulling shit out of his ass. He doesnt want you having the car for his own personal reasons and theres nothing more to it.Only peice of advice I can give u is to make him realize that in the end its gonna be YOUR car,not his(unless of course he's buying it for himself or as a family car, then ur fucked)
