I am against same-sex marriage because I believe it is beneficial to society as a whole to perceive the family institution as a mother, a father, and biological children. It is nothing to do with scripture; it has to do with science. Men and women are not identical, therefore a father can offer a child something two women cannot, and a mother can offer a child something that two men cannot. It's not religion - it's biology.

I am against same-sex marriage because I believe it is beneficial to society as a whole to perceive the family institution as a mother, a father, and biological children. It is nothing to do with scripture; it has to do with science. Men and women are not identical, therefore a father can offer a child something two women cannot, and a mother can offer a child something that two men cannot. It's not religion - it's biology.

Organized religion, through the Bible has ADVANCED humanity beyond the stone age of pagan religious practices.
People used to sacrifice their own children to their "gods" before G-d condemned it in Genesis. The Bible gave the world the greatest gift of all: the gift of knowing right from wrong. Of separating between good and evil. We ignore it at our own peril!

Mankind is too stupid to properly use the positive qualities of religion. Humans naturally warp the bibles messages and thats why I am a secular. I am also a strong believer in personal faith and keeping it to yourself.
