  • Errmmmm? I am officially rendered speechless... o_O He's only eight and he is playing like this. No telling how far he will get as a pianist...

  • When did he start playing?! :O I'm 13, and I will NEVER get this good. Positive. I can only play clair de lune right now! :P Great job! Impressive at all ages, especially 8 years old! Well done! :)

  • @dship98 , thanks very much.

  • Absolutely amazing. I wouldn't even consider playing this piece. At that age and starting with such talent he should do well - providing he can keep the love for the music which many youngsters do loose. Anyway, Very, Very well done young man.

  • Good job! It is quite a piece!

  • @brandonscherrer , thanks for the nice word!

  • @brandonscherrer its ok , lugansky did it better ;)

  • That is amazing, such an amazing standard. how did joshua even start to comprehend this piece let alone make such a good job... yes its quite "smudgy" at times but you can still here it and it is a phenomenal achievement to play this... I am extremely impressed I started and gave up after the first 20 bars or so lol but i will keep trying and someday may be able to play this song. kudos to joshua who learnt this piece at just under half my age honestly well done

  • high five!!

  • Испаганили Рахманинова!

  • @VladMusiciant , thanks for your kind word!

  • Impressive at any age. Definitely keep playing piano, this is quite nice :)

  • @hi19hi19 , thanks very much.

  • Joshua, for an 8-year-old this is absolutely spectacular. You are truly gifted. Your hands may be a bit too small at this point to handle Rachmaninoff's complex chords and jumps, but I'm sure with time you will grow into this piece wonderfully. A world of advice: don't use so much pedal. It blurs the music and the piece sounds much better brittle (without pedal) You should re-record this in a year or so and give a progress report on how your larger hands better cope with the music. Good luck.

  • @JoeTownley , thanks for your professional comment. Yes, Joshua used a bit too much pedal for the piece. He will record it again in the near future when he grow a bit older. Thanks again.

  • Wow!

  • @Yudhi1950 Thanks.
