there is no way thats better then going off the floor. Pulling with your legs will just make your legs stronger which is good cause your legs can never get to big.
i call that cheating yourself. you can load more weights that you can properly lift, but if you don't do the hole movement then is the exercise wasted, the energy is wasted because incorect workout. everybody is forgetingthat the gym is not for show off or competing stage. but many people thinks if i lift more than the others and if they see you lifting heavy ass weight that you are something good. that woman need a trainer to tell her what is she doing wrong. i can see the mistakes.
if you wouldnt touch the rack between the reps youd only make 2 or 3 reps. try that, its much more effektive. and in hit style you wouldnt even do 1 ;)

Those are half rack-deads, u should try to lock-out by pulling back your shoulders a bit..

I do rack deads to focus on back thickness when I pull from the floor I use my legs to much.
