Not really, have you ever played Saint's Row? It's actually a very different game. Instead of mafia hitmen and assassinations, it's gang warfare, with a lot of the same basic elements, but a very different spin on it. You can do shit like walking into random stores and holding them up, walking the clerk to the safe by gunpoint, and having them open it.

Both games are very different, and personally I love them both.
