Fires are not the norm. Most calls are medical and could easily be handled by private ambulance companies. Big Unions are on their way out.

If a person was really loved their job they wouldn't be in it for the HUGE Financial perks. You are costing tax payers big money. At least stay in shape if you are a fireman, you actually can do it while on the clock, unlike most.
