They're siblings, but not by blood.

All the Vocaloids are "brothers and sisters", but were created, not born.

The Kagamines can also be referred to as "mirror images" because they are versions of each other. Len was taken from Rin's image, but they are still two distinct characters and aren't the same person...

In the PVs, they are whatever the song says they are.

That aside, I love the pic in this PV <3 <3

@glossy259 You didn't understand my post, did you? I won't blame you if you're weak at English, though.

I don't really care what pairs you like, what matters is Rin and Len are Vocaloids so they can't be and are not related by blood. That means Rin and Kaito are brother and sister too, but not by blood.

In some PVs Rin and Len are blood twins depending on the story, however. Still, I don't really care if you find that gross, it's just a story anyway.

@Sinshana I can't see the vocaloids as siblings. Miku is just Miku, Kaito is Kaito and so on. They have all diffrent parents, except Rin and Len. I see them as twins.

In other words, I see the vocaloids as real people and as they were real. But thats just how I perceive them. :)
