Wilson was probably the most intelligent winger that the game ever had. Not as fast as Habana or Kirwan, but he had a bigger bag of tricks and could draw in as many defenders as you needed to create a gap. Legend.

John Kirwan was very very good at beating the man before he caught the ball. He had very good centres inside him though to help, in Joe Stanley and Frank Bunce.

That try Wilson scored at 4:05 was exceptional. He was brilliant.

Wilson is a freak.  As an Aussie, I loved watching him. Let's not forget, he won a one day international by smacking Steve Waugh around.
