wouldnt work very good for any fish in my lake, but i use the same idea to make wasp traps. just set them up right and pour some soda in it. just a bit. add sugar if you like and let it sit. works better with a narrower water bottle tho as the hole is smaller.

its a good trap but u need to make it bigger for biger fish and ad some adesive or somthng cus a fish can get out easily and some bait cus a fish is not gonna get in unless that thers some thing to eat there
