  • when the cubs beat the sox in a game this season i said nothing to one of my friends who is a white sox fan...the next day when the white sox won he got all in my face and saying the sox are better, i thanked him for helping prove my point that cubs fans arent as arrogant

  • I apologize for that "Sox fan". If I'd been there, if my "friend" got in your face, Sox fan or not, I'd ask him to leave; or, I'd suggest he apologize after paying for your ticket, and buying you, and three friends, tickets for one of the upcoming World Series games between the Cubs and Sox.

Banter between Cubs and Sox fans ought to be fun, just as playing baseball ought to be fun.

P.S. The young player in the video is an even tempered, good humored, and very good ball player.

  • hey you forgot the cubs championship, so...really its 3-3

  • Do you care to explain? Cubs World Series Victories/Championships are 1907 & 1908. Sox are 1906, 1917, 2005.

  • you forgot 1876, the first year the cubs were in the national league they were 52-14

it was pre world series though

  • they won it all in 1876

  • whoops, i checked my facts, they actually have 7 total. 1876, 1880-1882, 1885-1886

  • Well, I learned a little I didn't know. You are correct in recognizing, however, that the 1876 victory was not a "World Series". And, 1880-1882 and 1885-1886 were National League championships, and the Cubs were awful good. The American League was not a "Major League" until 1901. The first "World Series" was in 1903.

World Series Championships remain White Sox 3, Cubs 2.

  • some nice clips of a tv playing a ted williams video and some good clips of a little leaguer taking some pitches

  • You do recognize Lou Gehrig and Ken Griffey in the video as well, correct?
