Hey great job and I can't believe nobody has even left a comment. I have a driving rig now and I've gone through several displays. Currently I'm using a Samsung 3D LED 40" mounted to my redline sims/Bob Earl racing custom chassis. Its cool but again even with 3D its not immersive because the field of view just isn't enough. I would purchase this materials tomorrow if you could message me and let me know where you got it. Thanks man for finally doing this. you're awesome.
This is a great setup and exactly the thing I searched for - for my (future) flight (gliding/soaring) simulator.
One question in advance: Do you really fell "immersed" or would you go for a larger/different shaped/full dome next time?
Can you please answer me some questions:
1. How exactly is this "dome" called (partnumber, article name)?
2. What size is it (diameter)?
3. where can I source these domes
4. which beamer do you recommend (or use by yourself).
