I can't undo that wire no matter what.
Ya, it's Candyman, but I prefered to call it Jim's Blues, as a tribute to Jim Bruce who is a Fav of mine and his playing is for sure professional. Mine is just for fun as an amateur. Also,
If you find old stuff on my channel it's my "trademark", so to speak. I am an old collector of old Blues and American Folkmusic, though, I live in Sweden !
I can't believe I've not commented on this before! Fantastic - thanks very much for your support and friendship. With people like you around, the real blues will never die! Great picking Urban.
very nice Urb! (But don't forget to tune once in a while, if you find tuning boring&tedious, buy a tuning machine. Perhaps not so romantic, but they normally work like a charm, and they're always 100% loyal and eager to work :)
Yes, once in a while I tune the git with my fork "stämgaffel", but this tune "wins" to have the git out of tune. Gives the old feeling I guess. *smile*
I did this upload to honor my very good friend Jim. You know the man in France. The best and true Bluesman I know ! He has done so much for me, so what is better than a tune of his "own" to thank him, but in my own way !

Mmmm ! I keep seeing this pattern all over. Never been here before but there's comments from familiar 'YouTuber's' here.
Surely everyone knows it's "Candyman' anyhow.
Love the Blues !

Not bad. All you need to do is tune the guitar.
It's not Jim's Blues, it's Candyman.

Ya, I know its out of tune and I also know its Candyman, but this vesrion is a tribute to my very good friend Jim Bruce in France.
Check out, Jim's Corner, here on my channel !

jonasjar 2 years ago

Hej! Urban...nice, paced pickin': Jim is sure one of the best bluesmen on the Tube. A fitting tribute. Take it easy, man. But take it!

I take it lain, I always take it easy.
Can be heard in this song too, in a too slow tempo, but it's at least mine !
Thanks !
