  • Engine Painting and TOOL!!! dont get no better than that!!!!!!

  • What did you do/use to clean the surface?

  • @31goodtymes31 You can use a lot of stuff, dawn and water is great. I prepped this with oderless mineral spirits.

  • Is that the Rustoleum High Temp Grill Paint, that can stand up to 1600 degrees?

  • @NateN34 Yes it is. I recomend it, it lays down quite nicely andit looks pretty god.

  • not bad man. hope your using high temp paint....

is it just me or is there no tape on the bottom of the cylinders... that could be bad..

also painting studs might cause you trouble getting nuts on later. i would have plugged the intake/exhaust next time.

  • @Transane I did use high temp paint. And I noticed that and the paint isnt very resiliant to steel wool and alcohol so I cleaned up the exhaust, the studs, and the bottom of the cylinders. The intake was masked up. Oh and the paint was that rustoluem high temp paint made for engine components.

  • it was also to see how the spray was going to be so I would get a good consistancy

  • Much better Grasshopper!! I don't know why you wasted all that paint painting the tape on top of the head, but you did a good job.
