This is more than a year old and Im thinking about either one of the next phones:

1: HTC Touch Diamond 2

2: HTC Magic

3: LG Renoir (KC910) or ViewtySmart?..

4: Samsung Jet

HEEEELP!, they're all great who has tips on/experience with one or more of these phones?...

PS! In the end I value easy and fast (internet) performance, easy menus and good video/audio more than design or 1 billion Meg.pix camera :P

Samsung Jet and HTC Magic is out of the question. HTC Touch Diamond2 is slow and clunky, so that leaves you with LG Renoir or Viewty Smart. LG Viewty Smart is newer, so naturally you'll choose Viewty Smart.

Asked some others and checked the specs and reviews of a lot of phones(in the end it was between this phone, the Magic and Touch Diamond2).. and decided on the HTC Magic..love it, great phone!

Love the phone, love Android interface and Market and what future will bring :)

Can advice anyone to take it! (not for a great camera though, there are better phones for that)

does anyone know anywhere to get any good apps or games for the viewty smart?

i can't find any at all and considering those available for rival phones and even the original viewty its pretty frustrating.

also I've had some trouble with the camera; whilst it takes good shots in sunlight on my phone the flash is overpowering and most night shots are just a white blur. i feel my old k800i was more versatile in terms of its camera which is a real shame. if anyone can help me id appreciate it.

It's a new phone so there aren't that many games for it yet and all depends what sort of mobile games and apps you like. I have only found a few. pub mania, pac man championship edition, abracadaball, block breaker deluxe, i got them for free. As for the camera thing I hope someone can help you out with that as i've had no probs with mine. Sorry!

I typed in games for lg viewty smart into google, I can't remember the site I went too sorry. I downloaded them to my laptop then attached my phone to me compy to get them. There are quite a few free games for mobile sites, it's finding them for this phone that's quite diffivult cos it's so new.

I got the original viewty and it's still working perfectly, it's the best phone i ever had, 2 years old and still better than iphone, omnia, htc crap and nokia (haha you guys suck in touch phones)

i ahd the original viewty and it sucked. The touchscreen is very unresponsive and the lense on the camera sucked.There was just also nothing special about the phone or any of its functions.

Hopefully this new one will make up for it.

Viewty Smart is slimmer and lighter, Viewty Smart uses S-Class Touch UI

Viewty Smart uses capacitive touch screen and multi touch,( Renoir uses resistive)

Viewty Smart camera interface and image processor is "supposed" to be better than Renoir even if both phones are 8MP with Schneider lense.

Viewty Smart screen resolution is an amazing...480X800 pixels cramped into 3" touch screen with 16 Million colors ,(Iphone is only 320X480 pixels)

Renoir screen is only 240X400 3" with 256K colors.

Viewty Smart and Arena are not smart phones but multimedia phones, Viewty Smart mostly focus on CAMERA while LG ARENA focus on MUSIC.

SMART phones are Sony Ericsson IDOU and Samsung OMNIA HD both phones use Symbian OS.
