  • Hi! Lovely house :) quick question about your pull out couch. Where did u get it? It fits perfectly!

  • @RomiMMorris Thank you. We actually ripped apart a small couch and fixed it in/ rebuilt it.

  • I love seeing people make the best with only what they need. It inspired me a year ago to start on mine. Great job!

and by the way, I love the porch decor.

  • You are SO beautiful.

  • Hey. Did you find it hard finding a place to park your tiny home? Where are you parked now?

  • I was watching this video wonder how you guys had reversed everything so quickly... And then it registered in my brain that it's a mirror image >.< I feel like a dork. But, I love this model. My mom and I are going to build one and travel in it while we write a book. We're pretty excited.

  • @purple1316 lol. yeah sorry about that. Have fun with the build.

  • Awesome tour!

  • hi there,

sorry, I did not received the email from you. Could you send again?

But I did received an email from youtube that you have commented...

    Again, it is: maria.souzaip@g.austincc.edu

    Thanks!

  • Did you ever come up with solutions to the various moisture issues you've all had?

  • @naterd00d Yes, we blasted a commercial fan for a few days with a dehumidifier and that sorted things out.

  • Awesome, well we are selling it, so if you'd like to have it...!

  • @collinandjoanna your selling your tiny house?? what didn't you like about it?

  • @DevilsAdvocateism Yup. We loved it actually. It's just that we are expecting a wonderful addition to our family in July and would like to get a bigger place. Some things are for a season and we are ok with that. We had so much fun building and living in it. Now we are on another adventure :)

  • @collinandjoanna aww that's awesome :) Congratulations!

  • @collinandjoanna :) so if you had to comment on what you felt the most inconvenient thing living tiny compared to normal living, what would it be? I would imagine the kitchen would be around the top of that list, but I could be completely wrong.

  • @DevilsAdvocateism The kitchen wasn't bad actually. Maybe a bit squished with 2 in there at once. When we found out we were pregnant, which we are pumped about, space was the kicker.

  • @collinandjoanna

Hi ! I'm interested in the house. Where are you located at? And is the house listed on a site for sale yet?

  • @poupeeMariaSouza

you can shoot me an email at : maria.souzaip@g.austincc.edu

  • @poupeeMariaSouza will do that just now thanks.

  • This is the best "Tiny House" I've seen so far !!! Absolutely amazing. Great job

  • very nice home

  • there is a place me and my family like to stay, where all the cabin's are only a little bigger than that. it is very cozy and we love going there

  • This is really cute. The only thing that makes me a bit uneasy is the fact that there's only a curtain separating the kitchen from the toilet. Nooooot exactly the best idea hahaha for obvious reasons. But to each his own!

  • I love your house!

  • That's awesome! There wouldn't be a place to put a washing machine would there? I suppose you just go to a laundro-mat?

  • I have one of the nicer kitchen layouts of this style mini house i seen, and thank you thank you for painting the kitchen walls white! so sick of these little homes being unpainted knotty pine!

  • rhubarb apple crumble sounds freaking amazing right now. save a piece for me.

  • man, I'm so jealous of that place -_-

  • You are adorable, very pretty! Thanks for the tour!

  • So tiny. I don't think I would be able to live there. :P

  • It is a futon mattress so we were able to bend it in half and put it through the whole.

  • how do u get the bed in???

  • Your voice is so melodic! Please say you sing~

Also, how do you make the bed in such a tight space?

  • @tusabea because this is different than a travel trailer. You get it because its different not because of the size. Also they built it themselves which saved them over 50%.

  • When you can afford it, get yourself 'out-buildings'. They serve as workshops and garden sheds and hobby houses. Consider the many amazing forms of 'yurts' out there.

  • Enjoy and have fun, you're at the right age for this.

I lived on an old boat for two years, Loved the

experience. I didn't take enough pictures, though.

    No You Tube in 1980.

  • This is just awesome I want one :)

It took a creative mind to bring it all together.

  • So cool -- thank you for sharing this, Joanna! It is really nice to be able to see the inside, and it was generous of you to share your private home in such a public way for our benefit. Kudos, and keep going!

  • Adorable. You've really made this lovely with your own sweet touches. I have to say though that you must be newlyweds, right? LOL I love my husband dearly, but that is a bit too close!

  • @MYcrayolaBOX we've been married for three years, actually. We just keep working on issues before the sun goes down that day to keep short accounts. If you meant we were newlyweds because we don't have a lot of belongings, well we did have to get rid of a lot, but it really felt good. Less is more.

  • Nice concept but it's a bit too tiny for me... I'd lose my mind.

  • I bet taking a booboo lights up the whole house.

  • Only problem is that you can't have much for hobbies. Otherwise it's a great idea!

  • Amazing :D

  • video doesn't play....

  • Lovely house!

  • Wonderful! I want one! :)

  • love it -

  • These tiny houses cost $40,000 and up- Why don't you just buy a travel trailer that has more room , used ones are under $5,000 and much more livable inside

  • @tusabea lol no shit

  • Comment removed

  • how awsome is that? :)

  • How gorgeous!!

  • beautiful things come in small packages- yourself included!:)

  • I love this. It looks really cosy. I wish I had known about this when it was just me and my husband....still looking for the tumbleweed that can accommodate 2 kids!

  • @asmccaslin well, here's what you can do. Take a 24' long trailer or so (this house is 18') and on one end install a large kitchen/dinette with loft above, and on the other end build a bathroom/ground floor bedroom with loft above, like the Tarleton. Older child gets the loft, younger child gets the ground floor, parents get the other loft. You'd just need a mighty big truck to tow it because it would probably weigh four tons. This is pretty much Jay's biggest house at just under 3 tons.

  • oh i love it!
