or you could make one with a light sensor instead of a snap for the on/off switch, also if you add a small solar cell it will charge the 1.2v battery while the lights are on. thanks fo showing us the thread kit!!!!

you know wire is flexible and will not short out on contact.. and withe leds you can use magnet wire making it thinner more flexible and it still will not short out...
