OMG! THANK YOU SO MUCH. SO SO MUCH. Never thought I'd ever see this again. I use to borrow this from the library all the time as a kid. This story went along with a series of other children's stories on that tape. The one I remembered first was of course this one and the other one was an animation of the "City Mouse and the Country Mouse. Thank you so much! I love this. I'm in nostalgia heaven:D

@doors123 Det kan jeg ikke tro, for Palin ble født i 1943 og filmen er fra 1955, han måtte være 12 år da. Filmen kan ha blitt dubbet et par år senere, men da var han 14 og han høres ikke ut som en fjortis i denne filmen. Filmen kunne også vært dubbet flere år senere, men det høres ikke sånn ut på kvaliteten. Personlig syns jeg det høres mer ut som Sterling Holloway. :)

Oh I loved this animation when I was a kid! Peter Ustinov narrated it on a Hans C.Andersen video. I'll never forget those images, the jack-in-the-box especially! Love this :)

Based on the 1st 3:12 of this film, it is truer to the original story than The Brave Tin Soldier(1934) & Mr. Piper and the Story of the Tin Soldier(TV, 1963).
