After years of trying different brands of mascara, mostly high-end and a few drug store brands, I finally found Cover Girl Lash Blast to be my number 1 mascara with NARS being number 2. I totally didn't like any of Fresh Cosmetics' mascaras because of clumping issues. I love NARS Dolce lipstick a lot but want to try it in the lipgloss version.

As a makeup artist, I'm extremely surprised that you were color matched as an NC40, I would think that you are at LEAST two to three shades lighter than that. I think that might be why you had a hard time blending it.

the main difference between fix plus and charged water is that fix plus has glycerin in it which helps as a base for your makeup. you can also foil your eyeshadows with it. charged water has more vitamins in it which is good for an everyday mist, as well as cafine to wake u up.

MAC´s cleanser oil is great, but I only find one problem, when you rinse it off you get blurry vision!! I´ve heard other people complaining about the same, so if you find a solution for that, let me know!! I mix the strobe cream with my foundation and it looks great!!

are most people a mix between the two because i always ahve to mix foundations that are peach and yellow. because i'm light skinned but i tan to a yellow colour (like brown yellow) but my face doesn't tan. wow it's super hard! i thought i was the only one who felt they were in the middle.

yes most people are neither yellow or pink they are a neutral....a mix of the two. That is why makeup artists who usually have a bunch of different foundations most often mix the two. However many private people who use foundation don't wanna bother buying two...but really that is how you will get the  best match.

A cheap, effective makeup remover: olive oil. It really works! just put a little on a napkin or cotton ball, and it comes off gently :)

If you like the Color Fever gloss in Heat Stroke then you will love LA Colors gloss in Topaz... The color is VERY similar and it comes with a matching lip liner and lip pencil sharpener. It's not too sticky and has a gorgeous sheen to it.

I love the cleanse off oil. I bought this kit w/ the Prep and Prime items. I use the oil to remove our favorite eyeliner (revlon colorstay). I use a Q-tip and it takes that stubborn eyeliner right off!!! Luv it.
