  • How do you counter this?

  • @zcubait It can be done either way. In my personal wrestling experience, having practiced with and competed for two different schools, I've learned how to do it both ways.

  • How come I find kata guruma easier than fireman's carries? I train in weights/bodyweight inconsistently e.g. 2-6 months on and then for 2 months to a whole year the only exercises I do are bodyweight exercises in class. Back to the topic, I had trouble doing a fireman's carry to someone 10-15 lbs heavier than me but a kata guruma is easier, especially when he's lighter than me.

That being said, could grown men who train regularly do FUs/Attitude Adjustments like Cena?

  • great videos.. all of em.

  • thank you so fucking much bro!!! im a heavyweight (265) and im short, about 5' 10" and that elbow over stuff works better then any set up ive ever used!!! thanks man it really works and reffs dont say anything about it

  • lol never saw this way to lock up the move i usally just used a wrist or over hook

  • this is drop kata guruma

  • @enmudel thats exactly what i was thinking..

  • I busted my ass once during a fireman's carry back in HS

  • your "single leg" is really a High-C. single goes in from the outside

  • @zcutbait Understood. Thanks.

  • @TechniquePrevails so is there anyway for the opponent to transfer into a crucifix position? it looks like it but im def a noob so i couldnt tell, but when i watch these vids i always try to imagine what id do from either position, great vids keep it up,

  • im not really a wrestler.but why not throw him over your head? just a question.

  • @TheLantzEmbry its doesnt work like that hahah, that more like a wwe move lol

  • Hello, im an 8th grade wrestler thats varisty. i love this move, and u explained it great. love the site, a definite sub!

  • nice technique!!! Would this kind of set up work for freestyle wrestling also?

  • @BulldawgE

Meh, I used it. But at the same time, it can back fire. It's a fairly expected move (at least in my district). I'd say to go for it, Easy points if you can land em on their back. I always used the Fireman's, let him get back to his belly, then gut wrenched. Easy way to get ahead for the start of a match.

  • Great!

  • your pro man, i would pay anything to train with you

  • hell yes, i love this move. no one can stop a perfect fireman's carry, i swear. at least no one i've wrestled.

  • This is one of the best instructions I've seen on the Fireman's Carry. I've been trying this move for weeks in sparring and finally landed it last night. It was really smooth. Thanks for the instruction.

  • This move is so simple and so effective. Thank you for teaching me.

  • Great way to get into a firemans carry! very detailed, I love it!! I love doing firemans carrys in sparring and in matches, I like to get into it when I have a tight overhook, then dropping to my knee and sitting out.

    Great video!

  • This guy is a great coach. Either stand up or ground fighting he seems to have full knowledge for all the techniches. Great moves and great expanations. Congratulations from Spain

  • @guilleranguita Thanks for your kind words.. Please be sure to check out the site!

    Bienvenidos de los Estados Unidos....

  • very cool!

  • you guys are the fucking coolest

  • Thanks guys you made me a high wrestling champion thanks to the firemans carry

  • very nice. im gonna have to use this one next time

  • This is so efficient and useful

  • I've always had trouble with technique on this move. Thanks for posting!

  • this is crazy ive never seen it set up like that. i have seen it from inside tie and an overhook

  • looks like your using way less effort than the other vids on here on firemans carry, sweet!

  • this looks almost identical to what joe stevenson did repeatedly to.... nick? nick or nate diaz on the season finale of the ultimate fighter

  • Sweet site man

  • Thank you sir. Glad you joined.

  • How can you get into that clinch in an MMA fight?

  • That clinch will happen often when you are striking and both move forward or when one of you are nearing the cage.

  • k thx

  • how would you follow up

  • It lands you in side control, so start mounting an attack with either strikes or submissions.

  • Jacare!!!

  • good

    i like your set up

  • this is all i do! no joke

  • Oh! It's an awesome takedown, i will practice this in our gym.

    Thanks

  • nice, thanks dude, ive been having trouble with this takedown, i made the common mistake of trying to lift him up, but sitting is a lot easier
