I wonder if you could give put some layers of kevlar or aramid in between the outer skin and inner foam layer and make actual ballistic halo armor. That would be sweet.

@greenmarcosu That's what I'm doing as a research project. I estimate completion in about 4 to 5 years. I am currently testing nerve-actuated polymer 'muscles' on a suit. I think it may see use as an increased mobility device for the elderly. You'd be suprised how easy it is to read a nerve impulse with skin pads. After I complete the nerve interface for muscle activation, I will wrap it in a set of para-aramid fibers for added strength. Maby someday the military would see an intrest in it.

Sir Grumbo, I'm still a little confused. What did you use for back pressure for the foam in the space diaper mold? Flexfoam-iT 25 looks much more comfortable for the leg sections.

What do u use for the face visor for your Master Chief and ODST helmets? What do material do u use for your guns and where can u get all of these things at? Please help me out, I've always wanted to have a Halo armor suit.

I can't see wanting to make the legs or the most of the body out of this, but OMG this is going to be perfect for solving that oh so troublesome problem of being able to sit down in armor. With the cod-piece and buttplate made of this stuff one could actually sit down and NOT destroy their suit. I'm totally excited about this new approach
