looks good! i slept up my first tree last summer. a great experience. looking forward to this summer! do you find using a treeboat much easier than a regular hammock?
Gotta watch out now! Fucking cops and park rangers using Infrared devices busting people in golden gate park and Marin headlands. I am really starting to hate camping in California It costs so much to camp almost as much as a one night stay at a Raddison. Keep up the gorilla camping and watch out for the tweekers
@nesbitt615 Thailand has trees very simular to the one this fella camped in. during the winter months it actually gets quite cold here in the "foothills of the Himalayas" by Chiang Mai. I always thought it would be cool to start a biz based on this...your thoughts ?!
@Gizziiusa eco tourism is the "thing" right now. take a bunch of rich tourists and hang them in trees for the night and charge like $100 buck to outfit them and help set up it could work
@nesbitt615 ill keep it in mind. another good thing is it hardly rains during these cooler months as well... ill look more into it, heck they have other things already here like ziplining, rock climbing, why not this !
hahahahaha holy shit !!! I used to do this same exact thing years ago. haha I had a different set up though much easier than than spider web you got goin on. None the less much respect fellow tree dweller!!
Brilliant video buddy, in fact they are all great! Me and a mate are planning on doing this in the new year, were both training to be Arborist's at a College in Southern England. Cannot wait to experience waking up 100ft off of the ground! :) Regards, Matt.
very very clever, creative and gives a whole new angle to bushcraft and reading (not to meation perspective on cityscapes) to be explored...u a 21st century pioneer ...no doubt
When I get better and can walk again I want to do this What does all the climbing gear cost and where do you learn the skilz to live through the adventure.
I like your video. As a former homeless person I like your approach to the situation of displacement. You get up into the trees you are safer and in the south your cooler and need mosquito netting. The problem I had with being outdoors was no one lets you alone but if you go upward you are safer from attack from the police and the people that prey on the unfortunate the police did I mention the police because they are the ones that are the harshest on the impoverished.
@WeekendAdventurer i love Into the Wild, easily my favorite movie and definatly one of the top of the books ive read too and Kareem, you are my hero for doing this, i want to do this sooooo bad
Nice video, but next time You read Moby Dick, get some ganja ;-)

I had my tree climbing saddle on the whole time, which is connected to a rope that is secured above me. Very safe.

I just built my first hammock with rain fly, and Ive always love climbing.
the view is great and as everyone has said it is a nice separation from everything with out having to hike far off from your desired route.

Very true, if you have to read it, might as well make it interesting.

I like how you blended in an no one knew that you were there. But... Moby Dick? I think that you would like "Into the Wild" by John Krackhour (sp?).

Into The Wild is great book (and movie). I thought being high up in a tree hammock was kind of a funny way to kick off reading Moby Dick.
