  • For every martial art there is a master with a cool beard

  • this is sooo old. Its sad that the western world sounded so ignorant toward this kind of life. It would have been such a privelege to have been allowed to do this.

  • That girl is hot........

  • if all the mma guys went to war with all the eastern martial artists, id join the east

  • 4 viewers are MMA fanboys that suck!

  • first move = faceplant xx

  • ah man its so frustrating training kids

  • I've lived in Japan 12 years & have studied Shorinji Kempo a long time. He makes it sound like it's a cult. It shows a lack of understanding of Japanese culture! The subtitles are often inaccurate. So Doshin studied kung fu from several teachers at Shaolin, not just copied a painting! They have a shrine to him as a part of normal Shinto practice! "Experts not supporting twisting young joints" was a cheap shot! My "Doin-cho" s have been extremely gentle! Very tainted and poorly researched!!

  • This documentary, if I'm not mistaken is from the 70's. That's close to 20 years before you first went to live in Japan. I know very little of Japan, or East Asia as a whole, but I find this series to bring me much closer to feeling the actual culture than anything N.G can come up with nowadays. What would you recommend?

  • @SifuJeff thanks!

  • that guy's daughter was hot back then

  • How much does this thing cost? it seems like a Martial Arts Training Machine Im going to get one to train my kung fu at home

  • nice

  • Thank you for very much for the clips. Aloha!

  • The Manji swastika was also used by the Mohawk Native Americans as a symbol of 'travelling' with its basis as the Sun symbol. Amusingly, it was used by an Edmonton (Canada) girls hockey team circa. 1916 as the emblem on their jerseys...lol. Seriousely, the symbol of the Christian cross has been used more heinously than that swastika, and yet, the atrocities committed under than banner are ignored...think about it.

  • The cross has been used before by several heathen tribes, including the vikings, so, hehehe :D

  • really?I didn't know it was used by Mohawks...

  • Swastika or Ura Manji or Omote Manji doesn't makes a person mad like Nazi regime and Hitler or Lovable like the Buddah its oneself that matters.

Shorinji Kempo Manji is truly a peace , Love, caring and respect swastika sign. Study the Nazi Manji sign & shorinji Kempo original Sign carefully. Peace be upon you.

  • Still funny to see they've kept that sign after the war even tho it has a different meaning.

  • the symbol has been existed for thouand years. even before fuxxxxx hitler used the opposite direction swastika. Manji has been used in many budhist temple. Its wasnt invented during war dumb!

  • Thankyou very much Akab6, the videos are a pleasure to watch

  • Let me make this clear to everyone, the "swastika" as you call it, was called "Manji" in Buddhism and it has two different tilts even in buddhism, the one Hitler stole for his stupid motherfucking ambition was pre-nazi called "Ura Manji", and represented intellect and strength, while the one we use in SK is called "Omote Manji" and represents peace, love and all those good things.

  • Well said.

The Natzis kidnapped the symbol in a sense.

And perverted intellect and strength to

    mean genicide...

  • Sorry, but this comment is wrong. The Simbol of Shorinji Kempo is not Nazim simbol... Search for information before post a mistake.....

  • I like the fact that he did vigillante work against the gangs, my kind of guy

  • more than 2000 views and no comments?

  • that sign was miss-used by the nazis

  • I know, it still looks funny to us who aren't used to it in other contexts

  • If they see it in a good context, they are right in not caring for what others think. You do not feel that way about the Catholic cross, althought they were as cruel and evil as the nazis in the Middle Age. Respect their religion as you would like that others respect your religion.

  • amen to that man seriosly. And I was going to question it but I think I read somewere that that sign actually stands for piece or something. So yeah....Oh and 5/5

  • Yes the swastika was originally, and still is a sign of peace and understanding in Buddhism which has been used for centuries before the Nazi regime and Hitler. Hitler merely took the swastika and 'deviated' it by tilting it so it appears diagonally.

  • @Kensei1986

Catholics didn't launch a campaign to wipe-out Jews, sticking them in ovens, and making lampshades out of their skin. just sayin

  • @BidwellRunner But Catholics burned women, children and men alike at bonfires for being "witches." Today they deny the use of condom in the most unedjucated and aids infected countries, also they tell that witches and demons are real and should be killed. That's why sick and ill people in Africa get decapited for being "demons."

  • @Rosvosektori

Mostly women were burned and often for political reasons under the pretext of witchery. In medieval Europe torture and murder was rampant without the pretext of religion(Vlad the Impaler), and people were often horribly mangled for their "crimes" against the king.

While the Catholic church is causing a lot of damage for not allowing condoms, the Nazis still did quite a lot more.
