  • I absolutely love the LWW soundtrack. But great job!!! The music gave me chills!

  • yeah, but the music kinda removes the awe-struck feeling, sometimes its better to be simple and quiet than grand

  • interesting job, but I'm used to the original soundrack!!

  • wow. When I started watching it, I didn't expect it to touch me in that way. (:

    Amazing.

  • i plan on rescoring this film for for my distinguished scholars project, how did you take the original score from this film and still keep the dialogue?

  • I liked the score on narnia better

  • i love there faces when the see aslan

  • Wow!! I really like this, but somehow it wasn't quite...Narnian...

I agree that the original soundtrack on this moment could have been better, but on the whole Gregson-williams did a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of Narnia

  • i love the guy who plays aslan his voice is so gentel

  • i get chills when aslan comes back

  • the part when aslan comes back i get chills

  • when i here him roar i get gosses bumps

  • this is like one of the best parts of the movie

  • Since I only saw the movie once, and didn't particularly remember this segment well, I went back and rewatched the original. Having done so, I have to say I agree with you. The original felt thin and relatively lackluster given the moment's importance. This is much more stirring.

  • Great Job! But yes, I agree with s0erd, I like Harry Gregson-Williams better.

  • Pretty good!

I like Harry Gregson-Williams´ version better though.

  • Superb. Could you please re-score the rest of the film please?

  • Well, I'm flattered, but I'm afraid it's simply out of the question. I don't know that there is enough soundtrack music that would fit the whole film.

  • hm... dont know if its better or not than the original...

  • Great job with the score.

  • Taking the video out of a screener...kind of sloppy I think...still though the music is fine.

  • Actually, I thought Harry Gregson-Williams composed beautiful, enchanting music that was absolutely perfect for the movies. The music in this video was interesting, but not it didn't have a very Narnian feel. I give you credit for trying, but the movie's original score was far better.

  • I definitely agree. No offfense Dave.

  • if you dont like the movie then why do u watch it?

  • Nice sound but NOTHING compares to Gregon's score. I'm sorry.

  • Funny enough, I quite agree. But I don't think we have the same intent.

  • ohh, that scene always sends shivers down my spine but this...I had goosebumps. This so majestic. I love Aslan. That music fits him.

  • Wow! I like this one better than the original- its much more majestic!

  • its weird that this is the stone table in tltwatw and prince caspian it turns into this like big building

  • Lands change a lot in 1300 years.

  • tell me about it

  • The music fits perfectly with this scene. I don't know why they didn't use this one. National Treasure is sooooo old right now.

  • wonderful!

  • I admit that was quite good, but I think the original score was just as good or even better. What complaints do you have against it? I thought it was just wonderful.

  • If you compare it, there is just no reflection of the glory and hope that Aslan's return indicates. It's the changing from very little hope to near-certainty. It's the victory of Aslan and free Narnia. Gregson-Williams' score didn't cut it. I'm afraid he didn't do much better with Prince Caspian. :-(

  • It's cool. I kinda like it!

  • pretty good, but how did you mix the voices ad the music, how did you seperae tha audio tracks? or did you just layer on a new trak

  • I used a program called Windows Movie Maker. The layering was tricky, and you can still hear portions of the old music coming through. Basically, I had to mute the ones where sound from the movie wasn't needed, and try to balance out the clips where sound (and thus, the soundtrack) was still coming through against the track I was pasting in.

  • nice music though

  • No Harry did a great job the music in this movie rocked why did u have to turn it around the music rocked

  • I'm kind of a soundtrack connoisseur, and comparing this not just against other soundtracks, but against other soundtracks in the context of the film they were intended for, and the LWW score comes up short. His work on Shrek was pretty good, but he has a tendency to reuse his old themes, giving us few new tracks for the subsequent Shrek films.

Someone else posted a video of HGW's score for Kingdom of Heaven, VERY similar to the LWW battle score.

  • I cried when aslan died and then was so happy when he came to life

  • Hey, this is from National Treasure

  • Correct, as acknowledged in the opening titles and in a comment below. Fits rather well, no?

  • What's the muisc called?

  • 0:08 tells you the music - Track 12 from the soundtrack for "National Treasure".

  • thanks

  • Now, I personally think that Harry did a great job on every song but for the resurrection scene. When I watched LWW on opening night, this was the only scene that didn't touch my emotions.

Your mix did the trick! This is the way the scene should have been. Good job.!! :)

    * "the Large Voice" - NarniaWeb & Narniafans*

  • Fantastic! The best it could be done with the footage IMO. :D Great music choice.
