  • Sad..

  • Can't lie, this building was pretty important to my time at MTA. I got teary eyed watching this video. Thanks for making it.

  • This seems like an ugly, ignorant mistake. It was a beautiful old building, and probably mattered a lot more to people than the administration wanted to acknowledge, with their heads stuffed up their bottom lines.

  • Thanks for posting this update, I had wondered what had happened to fight to save this building. And thanks for the music. Great song, great sound.

  • In that last clip - where was the arch that they were going to preserve for the outdoor amphitheatre?? I didn't see it... Did they tear it down as well?

  • I cried when I watched this. I can't beleive MTA has changed so much in 4 years since I've been gone. The STUD housed so many memoires...It was the first building I stepped into to get my orientation package (that had my tshirt, booklet, snacks, and laundry bag). We went to the pub every weekend, and during the week too for trivia and bingo if I wasn't swamped with school work.

The new "trueman" hall will never replace the STUD. Its way too modern and encorporates too many purposes.

  • First place I saw the day that I first visited (and decided to come to) Mt. A. Dang.

  • i was in town when it happened.

  • What do you do when you like the video footage, but dislike what happened?

  • complete and utter travesty.
