  • Uncle Jim?

  • A nice thought. It would have been cool if the original Enterprise could have be salvaged and restored. It might not be cannon, but the idea, models, and animation are very well rendered for a fan film. It could have used real voice overs though.

  • Welcome home, Enterprise.

  • hows that even posibole: the ENTIRE enterprise was distroeid in star trek 3, plus after that they made the enterprise NCC 1701-A so yeah thats kind of a un oficial rip-off sorry-Mario.

  • Totally awesome...and beautifully done.

  • Good effort brosef.

  • Hulk smash puny Enterprise!!

  • Not bad for a fan film you need to do more work on the graphics and the voices keep up the good work.

  • To seek out newlife. Forms?

  • isnt that the excelsioir

  • @OllyGreen1 The B Enterprise is an Improved Excelsior class

  • looks like stbc

  • Enterprise is out there

  • The proportions on the D are all messed up in this.

  • This is retarded .

  • I still believe the enterprise is out there

  • cringe

  • I'll tell you what...that is one powerful ass shuttle!

  • The Enterprise Burnt up in the Atmosphere of the Genesis Planet in ST3. Nothing could possibly be left, Sorry

  • It's a neat, albeit crude, take on things. But, being as Kirk's refit Enterprise burned up on entry to the Genesis Planet, which itself also was destroyed, it is just not possible, even in the ridiculous realm of Star Trek's (not so) canon.

  • @User897arthur Well seriously Star Trek isn't that ridiculous is it? Exploring worlds discovering life all that is possible. I agree though on a planet that blew up that ain't coming back.

  • ha at 3:11 you can see that "Caution" is backwards on the right helm control...

  • aye caaaptin, inteercpt course plootted

lol using ultrahal for the voices is making me laugh my sides off

  • someone mentioned that Enterprise could have bounced off the atmosphere. it does take a lot of friction to enter an atmosphere.

  • we have gps systems that can track a peanut on the other side of the earth. In the future they will be able to lose a 100 trillion dollar spaceship because they turned the engines off......

I love star trek but it has more plot holes than a swiss cheese.

  • Is this a game?

  • I feel like Im watching lego Star Trek

  • This may have already been mentioned but the Stardrive section of the Enterprise crashed into the planet.

  • nicely done

  • Anyone else feel as if they are watching one of those crude 3-D animated Geico commercials?

  • Though the storyline is nonsense in perfection, you really did a very good job. It was a pleasure watching the video.

You can do awesome stuff with Blender, Cinema4d, 3dSMax, whatever you used.

Thumbs up for the techniques. Keep it up!

  • i dont care the enterprise always makes it no matter what

  • i feel really really nerdy for having watched this

  • Captain Microsoft Sam...

  • Genesis Brought back the enterprise as it did Spock in the same way that it was introduced to the planed. Half blown up. I believe is the idea. I like it. The NCC-1701 was by far the greatest of all of them. It was the ship that started it all. In scifi you can do what ever you like. It is science fiction. Go nuts. Good vid. Thanks for all the work.

  • like how u snuck in the NX :3

  • omg

  • I like it

  • Cool video. I enjoy "What If...?" stories or ideas. I liked it. This video is not trying to rewrite history. It's showing us possibilities. Like Spock Always Says "There are always possibilities..."

  • not " new lifeforms" on original is the text to seek out " new lifes" and new civilisations

when the message right than 100% right

  • impossible her hull disintergrated in the serch for spock

her hull burhned up on reentry

  • impossible her hull disintergrated in the serch for spock

  • SO THIS IS THE GAY SERIES OF STAR TREK.

  • Just a thought, maybe it skipped off the atmosphere rather than crashing to the surface. While the angle didn't look good for that I think that would be the best argument as to why it survived as well as it did. Also might add some of the self destruct charges may have been removed in preperation for decommision...

  • Enterprise B was mothballed after "Nexus" encounter, not to mention the 1701 crashed on Genesis i think

  • @MIMALECKIPL Mothballed after they just finished building it? I'm sure they'd patch up the holes but they just spent a long time and lots of resources getting the Enterprise B built and ready to just mothball it after its shakedown. I'd bet it would have operated for several years. But, yeah...1701 blew up. Then it got all melty in the Genesis atmosphere before what's left crashed into the planet. That planet blew up, too. I doubt there would be much left, other than some Enter-kibble.

  • @Zilch79 Ya know lets check Memory Alpha it is best possible source we can get on net.

  • Comment removed

  • I hate to admit to knowing this, but the original Enterprise self destructed over Genesis, then fell into the atmosphere of Genesis, then Genesis blew up.

So, good luck finding anything left of that mess.

  • Impossible. When the ship blew up in part 3, it burnt up in the atmosphere of the Genesis planet and whatever was left of it, it crashed and blown to stardust when Genesis exploded. Silly how people try to resurrect things that were totaled in the movies like in the N64 game Goldeneye 007, they say Drax's empire/space station only in fragments after 007 destroyed it yet managed to be pieced together and became whole again.

  • You must have missed the part in Search for Spock where the Enterprise burned up in the Genesis Planet's atmosphere after the self-destruct was activated.

  • if kirk werealive hed be captian agian since he isnt i wanna be captian thumbs up if u wanna serve on my crew

  • Really nice video, I liked it. Great job, and nice touch thowhing in the NX-01. Make another with all the enterprises present.

  • The old Enterp[rise fell into orbit and got burned.so it is not right

  • geeks

  • @kenman57 Thanks for noticing lol

  • hello there my friend i love the video can you tell me how u did all that let me know and would like to know and you did a great job in video and the sound

  • Its against the canon (however silly it is) of this show to take older technology and rebuild it...especially an entire starship.

The fictional Federation would go on and build NEW starships with the designation Enterprise, and so long as the mission of that ship stays the same, the legacy continues.

So sorry you fanboys can't adjust to time passing, and newer, fresher faces taking the place of those who are aging, dying, or dead (in fictional canon or in reality).

  • @i8246i I can only compare it to re-building WW 2 aircraft to operating condidtion.

  • Why not just build a new one like it from start, thats pretty much what was done here, lol. All the parts came off and new ones replaced, lol! Isn't that the same as just building a new one?

  • A few problems with what you guys are saying

1:What was left of the Enterprise was way too large to burn up on entry there would still be quite a large section left.

2:In all the shows the hulls of the ships can take a lot of heat from a sun with the help of shields. So that being said don't you think a lot of the hull plating should still be there?

3:When a planet does explode there are large chunks of it that gets thrown in to space. So how ever unlikely it is possible for it to survive.

  • Ok video, one major problem though....the Enterprise burned up in the atmosphere of the genesis planet....

  • its a HULL ... so many non spellers on youtube.

  • yes it is a good movie... but the first enterprise was vaporized upon entry into the atmosphere of the Genesis Planet, if any of it survived the entry it would not have survived the destruction of the Genesis

  • That was impressive; well done!

  • good work for amateur 3d animation

  • This author of this video missed one, gigantic fatal error: the Enterprise hulk burned up in the atmosphere of the genesis planet and crashed there, and was completely destroyed along with the planet when it exploded. It never simply drifted off into space.

  • @PlantOParadise Agreed. The ship was also set to self destruct- which would mean replacing the saucer section, warp nacelles, and deflector dish wouldn't cut it. It would be easier just to make a new constitution class ship rather than repair the old one. Good job on all the work though- I hope one day I'll be able to dip a little into 3DSM9

  • Video was good except for one problem. The remains of that ship burnt up in the atmosphere of the dying Genesis Planet. There is actually a scene in Star Trek 3 where the crew watches the ship burn up.

  • That was beautiful ! Great work - loved it. I love all the ships of star trek. Very wonderful dream machines.

  • Should be canon, good work!!

  • Pretty Damn Cool!

  • I thought enterprise burned up in the atmosphere

  • Credits would have been nice - like what program you used for the animation, who did the voice over etc...Otherwise, not bad at all.

  • did't enterprise B burn up in the atmesphere in the search for spock

    chud1able

  • @chud1able That was NCC-1701, destructed 2285 by Kirk, Scotty and Chekov. Kirk got 1701-A after that and 1701-B was comissioned in the beginning of "Generations" in 2293.

  • Good job!! why people need to make stupid comments is beyond me!

  • Captain John Harriman was the captain of the Enterprise-Bhe was not related to kirk

  • you'll never get the smell of klingon out of it.

  • Why would they want to find an old hulk and restore it anyway? Even if as I suspect the hulk is not wrecked completely beyond repair (why would they want anything left useful to a potential enemy?) it's not better than a museum-piece, something to give tours on. And there'll be other Constitution-class ships in better shape to do that with.

  • @thelyniezian But none called Enterprise

  • @barryc1701 what about the Enterprise-A that's the exact same class as that Enterprise and it's in better condition

  • @thelyniezian why not

  • @thelyniezian Amen I posted similar comments about a year ago and people reacted like I was violating their mother. BTW and to add to your point before the Enterprise was destroyed Star Fleet was about to scrap it.

  • @thelyniezian Because it's there...

  • @thelyniezian There was no Enterprise left at the end of ST III. What the self-destruct didn't blow up burned up in the Genesis planet's atmosphere.

  • @williamskidfears I don't doubt it! (Too many people want to pretend otherwise it seems).

  • @thelyniezian Tho, I'll have to give barryc1701 props for coming up with the idea of modular construction for starship building. You have the warp engines already built and the saucer sections all preconstructed and ready for replacement.

Though, for the life of me, why? The Excelsiors have completely supplanted the Constitution/Enterprise class by this time, and it would make little logical sense for Starfleet(or its chosen contractors)to stockpile parts for the latter.

  • Interestingly enough, the Excelsior class had vulnerabilities in her shield design that was not apparent when they were built. Enterprise shields were designed when exploration was the norm. She could make her shields specific to any threat. Excelsior had stronger shields but lacked that one feature.

  • @thelyniezian The same reason people restore classic cars and visit museum ships. History is worth it.

  • @thelyniezian

I agree. and her destruction was 99.99% guaranteed from burning in the Genisis atmosphere as she went down to the exploding planet... fitting end really for a fine vessel. The Alpha(previously known as the York Town) is still around, but Beta, Centurion, and Delta are out of commission. I hear Epsilon will be missing in action to be replaced by F.

  • @thelyniezian Enterprise IS StarTrek. Not Kirk, not Picard, Not even Archer. It's the USS Enterprise!!!=Stefan=

  • @thelyniezian You do realize this isn't real right? This person just made a what if movie for themselves and fans to appreciate. Not to have some person try to rationalize a fictional ship being repaired on a computer screen.

  • @TheChrisManChan The whole of Star Trek isn't real. So what? This still doesn't make sense.

  • @thelyniezian It's a fan film about Star Trek. He didn't do it to impress you or have it make sense. Star Trek is based off Science FICTION so his fan film fits WELL within the realm of science fiction and the star trek universe.

Just because you can't comprehend it, doesn't mean it doesn't make sense to everyone else.

  • We need more ship in the opening sequence. All we see is acouple of brief flybys which if you blink you'll miss.

  • Well, this has got to be my favorite episode of Robot Theater so far.

  • lots of hard work and nothing worse than people nit-picking...but your scale from ship to ship of way off. the E-B should be larger..her primary hull is too small compared to the rest of the ship. in the final shot, the NX-01 is definitely too big..but an over-all good vid

  • You should completely improve the voice and the models. Anyways its very nice work though

  • tobad tho that's actually the enterprise-B

  • Decent animations, and an original story idea.

A few minor things though, constructive. Start with the text to speach program you're using. Adding a few extra periods at the end of a sentence helps the program pause properly so that they don't sound like run-on sentences. Also, try spelling words differently for the phonetics.

And, the Enterprise DID crash on Genesis, and the planet DID explode.

  • @kittieshaufer

No one truly knows what happened they're all rumors

as spock says there are always possibilites

  • Uhm, I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, but didn't the Enterprise burn up on reentry to the Genesis planet after Kirk ordered a self-destruct?

    Just sayin'.

  • Now that ...is a thing of beauty, the true definition of Ship of the line.

  • Nice video but when they fixed the necells and saucer sections did they put new ones on or fix the old ones?

  • and they found the enterprise c in the enterprise b?

  • kinda like the episode of STTNG where scotty(also may he rest in peace) felt a need to be useful again. Picard was truly an insightful man

  • If only bill shatner Aka Kirk seen this

    And James dohan Aka Scotty

Seen this it would put a tear to there eyes

    From r olson

  • That is not the Enterprise.

  • @pgc4sean Enterprise B was an Excelsior class star ship, soo yes it is... fail boat

  • Well,I am the one who will start the federation,in 2040,by then we will have the "teck" to travel the Galaxy.

  • I think that had the real Enterprise wreckage had been salvaged, Starfleet should put her in a museum and preserve her.

  • Startrek ship with star wars boost :P

  • Thank you for that awesome video!

I loved your plot line and characters. The sequences of the Grand Old Lady being rebuilt were priceless! Have you thought of using STBridge Commander and doing a newer follow up version of this video? I for one would LOVE to see an updated version of this beautiful story.

When the Enterprise left the star base alongside of the B, I have to admit my eyes watered over to see her back.

Thanks again for this nicely done video.

  • That was a wonderful posting my friend. Thank you.

  • Those spires on the nacelles in the front are way too high. Is that like a space double mohawk?

  • what a load of absolute shit, you bring shame upon star trek with this excremental videos which look like crap.

    good effort though!

  • @CaptainJahangir99 Seriously, shut up.

  • @GameOver1260

The Federation is only 35 years away...

    CAN'T YOU WAIT!!!!

  • @bolden0000 35 years? The Federation wasn't formed until 2161

  • It seems as if the original Lady, NCC 1701, was silently calling out: Please, I need your help. I want to survive, to live again. To be made to feel useful again. To make a difference.....

  • @aramax1001 really?

  • ive been thinking, and its a long shot, but if any ship could pull it off it would be the original enterprise- what if the hull skipped through the atmosphere, losing speed and emerging in one of the lagrangian points, if the speed entering were lost on the way out, you could end up in a situation with only gravity acting on the ship. like i said, its a long shot, but this is the enterprise we're talking about, half the saucer missing and unmanned would be about fair odds for our fair lady.

  • @lordmcted That's my theory. It's reentry angle was too shallow, it skipped off and drifted into space, where it's found by her successor.

  • It would've been more interesting if it was actually a Trojan-horse ship built by Romulans to self destruct and destroy the federation starbase.

Even with a refit, it would've ended up in a museum. Which really sucks, the original USS Enterprise was rather awesome.

  • The joy and adventure of traversing the stars is in no way comparable to games. Where are the real ships?

  • very enjoyable

  • so now there's two enterprises?

  • Didn't the enterprise crash on the Genisis planet when she self desructed? I.D.K., maybe she landed in water and when the planet started to die, she got thrown back into space. LONG LIVE THE LEGAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Enterprise B is my Fav.

  • Ships named ENTERPRISE never die. They just move on to become LEGENDS and HEROES!

LET'S MAKE SURE THAT HISTORY NEVER FORGETS THE NAME ENTERPRISE!

  • Ships named ENTERPRISE never die. They just move on as LEGENDS!

  • Does this take place on stardate 12376.5, 64 years before the events in "Star Trek: The Next Generation"?

  • The Mutara sector? The sector where Captain Kirk and Khan Noonien Singh fought in the Mutara nebula in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan"?

  • The Enterprise is home!!

  • how do you do that?

  • Thank you for the effort and the time involved in creating this fabulous rendition. Please consider one of the episodes of "star trek" the animation 1973 filmation cartoon. the voices and music are already there, only the CGI is necessary.

  • VERY VERY NICE!

  • Very nice I like watching this :) Creative!

  • i like the idea behind it but its inaccurate its 1701-A and that ship crashed into the planet. Great work thou. kudos

  • @david89118 That and they said that they were just going to scrap the 1701 anyway before Kirk & co stole it

  • how did you make this???

  • awesome!

  • Fail.

  • @bburton28 Let's see YOU do better!

  • @katanaburner It was destroyed on the genesis planet. Don't remember that part where the planet blew up with the Enterprise on it? And at 6:06 is it covered in ice??? Im confused. So ill stand by with what I said earlier. Fail.

  • @bburton28 you couldnt make anything half as good which makes you a fail

  • @barrown1990 And who asked you?

  • A lot of people and star trek fans would love to see this in a proper film, like in the next star trek film they come across what is left of her, and bring her back to be refitted, shame that will never happen

  • this kinda sounds like alan ruck

  • uh the original enterprize crashed into the genesis planet.

  • not sure but i think i saw captian archer's enterprise???

  • @worldofwarcraftman2 Yes. That enterprise was created by an alternate reality created by the events of Star Trek: First Contact.

  • U put them in the starfleet Smithsonian museum?? In video star trek vs babylon 5 constitution class was still in use even when sovereign was created and it was the last ship 2 make it back. U used casting molds4 hull sections LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That Excelsior-class ship FAILS. So does the Shuttlecraft. Drydock is okay. Sounds like the voices have been done on Voki.com. The people actually look okay. So does the destroyed Enterprise. And the space station. Don't like the music. The Enterprise-B looks better when entering the space station, why doesn't it look like that at the start? Interesting mesh frame being towed into drydock by the Shuttlecraft... It's re-built VERY quickly o_O Enterprise grows too tall, like Enterprise-B at start

  • Brilliant!!!!!

  • The Hulk of the enterprise? Did someone make the ship angry?

  • Now you should raise The Titanic.... That would be so way as cool or cooler!, tthx!

    Sophia

  • Welcome home, Enterprise.

  • if only this could have been seen in the movies, they never showed what became of enterprise A

  • i have an idea on a story im writing i will use this story but updated but barry you will get the credit

  • You really can't kill this ship. She'll live on forever through mrefiany, many, many, many refits.

  • This is a cool video, I love it you brought back Kirks first Enterprise, thank you for that. Ive always loved that Enterprise ever since I saw it for the first time I watched ''The motion picture'' in space dock, I practically fell in love with that ship, I was both really sad and dissapointed when the blew it up on ''The search for spock''.

  • USS Enterprise NCC 1701 refit ! THE BEST SHIP !!T_T

  • music reflects a serialistic "Firebird" quality I liked.

  • Wow you got Stephen hawking to narrate the beginning? How did you manage that?

  • @cfjackson123 I was just getting ready to type that when I saw your comment.

  • OK, I don't understand. First, since when is John Harriman Kirk's nephew, and second didn't the Enterprise go streaking down into the atmosphere of the Genesis Planet like a comet after it self-destructed?

  • dum

  • Very thoughtful and nice video. I was just thinking the other day that it would have been cool to see a series based on Captain Harriman and the Enterprise B. Even more than that at one time I wanted to see an Star Trek: Excelsior series. However, its probably too late for Both. I like George Takei but perhaps getting a bit old to play Sulu again. Harriman is still possible but Paramount is already committed to the new ST movies. Which the new one is pretty good.

  • Nice work, I am glad you included NX01 in there. I was kinda under the impression that 1701 burned up in the atmosphere cause thats kinda what they show, but i guess if kirk can be brought back to life again then anything is possible. The only thing i didnt like was the captain of B being Kirks nephew, did yo base that on some book or something? other than that i really liked it good work.

  • o.0 wow that was aswome

  • Excellent work. A truly... fascinating subject. I read the ST books, by different authors and especially those penned by William Shatner where he has brought Kirk back to life and wonder.... WHY had the studios never made a truly BLOCKBUSTER movie with Kirk and spock (and if ANY other original surviving and interested) characters.. Maybe along with the TNG cast.... THIS would be a GREAT part to include. Along with Starfleet giving Kirk the ship to have as his own. Top Job on the vid.

  • Very fun and creative.

  • Well done. If that isn't the way it was, that's the way it should be.

  • dude, seriously that was freaking awesome, how did you do that, and was that the NX-01 i spied at the end !!!!

top stuff mate, id like to see ILIKESFLAN do better !!!

  • I like this very much indeed but it would be nice to see an original constitution class - pre-refit next to the NX-01. I guess the reason you did'nt is because all of these ships were called Enterprise and the pre-refit had been refitted!
