@quantumemperor The sunni sect trusted that abu bakr was the rightful succeder of the prophet (saw). I myself am not a sunni anymore, im not a shiite aswell, im the same what the prophet (saw) was, a muslim. according to the Quran its harram to make sects in islam aswell as calling yourself anything else than muslim. 3:103, 6:159. and i pray both the shia and sunni way, because ill never know how the prophet (saw) prayed and the most important is praying with your heart.

@Motez19 Qur'an clearly states "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong." (2:256). Also, logically speaking, Allah and His messenger wouldn't leave such a vital part of Islam "unclear" as you stated. The succession of the Prophet is extremely important.

wow...what a Great movie - the journey to Siffin was the cream of the cake. Really marvellous....and I always thought Al-Nebras was a cheesy rip off because I always got to see just parts of it on youtube.
